[NOTICE] Phase 3 server maintenance for 1/12/2011 [Complete]

Update regarding phase 3:

Servers will be down from 11:00 AM PST until 1:00 PM PST for maintenance related to the launch of Phase 3.

Phase 3 will raise the level cap to 50, activate the marketplace in-game as well as grant all testers free marketplace currency to spend however they want in the FW closed beta. Additionally, another wave of invitations will be sent to get a new batch of testers into the game.

All accounts that are activated for Phase 3 will have access by 2:00 PM PST. Email notification of activation will be sent during the same day. As usual, the selection process is random.

This marks the final phase where random selection will play a role in determining who can participate in the closed beta. Phase 4 will be open to anyone with a redeemed beta key. Phase 4 will also launch with additional servers, as well as the introduction of a PvE server. More information about Phase 4 will be posted in the future.

OK that's all. We're getting pretty close to open beta, everyone.

Updating for patch notes:
Besides the aforementioned changes moving into Phase 3, the following changes have been made:

Fixed nearby players screen leaving the window when party settings menu is moved
Events window - Fixed the "suitable only" button from being forced on
Character screen - Tweaked to fix spacing issues
System message countdown overlapping issue fixed
Guild Bases - Problem with viewing base details resolved
Game files no longer appear when opening the search feature
Issue with pets being immune to damage during duels in safe zones resolved
Several talents and skills have had their tooltips revised for clarity
Many talent/skill tooltips with an "error desc. ####" message have been fixed
Effects of pet interactions fixed to give the correct bonuses
Fixed priest resurrection prompt to display correct options
Achievement window displays book entries correctly
Underscores can now be used in character names
Numerous text wrapping/clipping issues resolved

Also, a huge amount of localization has gone into this update. As usual, we will continue polishing everything from text related stuff to gameplay elements as we move forward.

    Please tell me you get to select where your character is thrown and it isn't done randomly. Or are you expected to reroll for the PVE server?

    the update is PST time, the one server that is up and riunning right now is EST time...go on the PST times that crab gave, all you need to do is add 3 hours to it to get the EST time

    PvE is for phase 4, and since phase 4 is a wipe anyway... yea. Reroll

    Guess now I know when to check my mail.

    4PM isn't too bad, if that 4 inches of snow passes us over (And I pray it doesn't) that's when I get home from school anyway

    wow you're lucky if you get the 4 inches where you are, I'm right where they are saying it's gonna be 9-13inches

    You will of course have the choice between playing PvP or PvE servers during phase 4.

    I already answered this, the server that is up and running is based on EST time, the offices are PST time

    11:00 AM PST is 11:00 AM PST... not necessarily server time you know

    And crab any idea how much we have to play in phase 3? Heard the way to 50 takes quite a bit o.o

    Where I live we're supposed to get about 10-12 inches by Thursday.

    hopefully the pvp server wont become baron like most split server games do. only game i can think of that this didnt happen to is wow, but really the pvp servers there are no different to pve anyway.
