to players that dont know the rewards:

Daily Quest "Hide and Seek" (Find Meid) gives:
1st day - 100 soul leaves
2nd day - 200 soul leaves
3rd day - 300 soul leaves
4th day - 400 soul leaves
---- 7th day - 700 soul leaves

Feel free to correct me if i am wrong.

Just figured it would be a decent idea to post this tip here instead of starting a new thread. Make sure that if you're turning your nutcakes into soul gold to trade them for the advanced nightmare carnival coins. 12 ANC coins gets you a chest with 24-30 soul gold in it, and each nutcake gives you 10 coins.

I've heard of some people just selling them to NPCS as each cake can be sold for 5 SG. If it's painfully obvious feel free to light me up about it but I figure it's better to be safe then sorry.

for newbie like me
Do not sell your nut cake to NPC as if it is a regular item.

What to do with Nutcake?
exchange it for SOUL gold with Porudock Leukas the 8th.
This is the NPC outside before entering the event not the other one inside that of the same name where we take the quest.

Open the NPC interface (Porudock Leukas the 8th)
select "Old Token"
Theres 2 choices, I prefer the 2nd one
One Nutcake = one "Box of Carnival Coins" = 12 carnival coins

after converting all your nutcake to carnival coins,
Open NPC interface again.
Select "Fortify"
Select 4th option = Radiant Golden Chest

One Radiant golden chest = 24 to 30 soul gold inside

For daily quest one can get almost 1.5 soul diamond easy

and for high level character, once you reach 7 days and succesfull finding Meid.
the 8th day to the rest of the event, quest "Hide and Seek" rewards 700 soul leaves daily.
Yes, 700 easy soul leaves daily.

This event is almost over few days left.
and again Thank you very much to our GMs.
I able to buy 6 pets from the Boutique.

Hope this event comes back again.

Feel free to correct this post if there are any mistakes or add to it if there are things missing.

^-^ I've decided to add my little comment to this thread. Yes, thank you for the Nightmare Island Event. Even though finding Meid can be pretty crazy because a lot of us end up fighting to get to her first before she runs off again lol, it's still fun and I do likie the soul gold (now to just bring the fash back and have them sould gold payable like they were before *.* and not this half-in-half nonesense lol). But anywho, just wanted to say thanks and that I appreciate the event as well.
