Windowed Mode - graphics do not update when not the focus window

This change is really horrible. I play in windowed mode, so I can also browse the web, perform other tasks, etc. I can generally see the game screen around the edges or even when I hover over the taskbar. Now however, it doesnt update, I can not tell when an instance window pops, or I've reached an auto route destination, or watch world chat for a GL/whatever party request, or anything. Please permit the windowed mode graphics to continuously update/refresh (making all movement visible) even when the window isnt the active/focus window, as it has been for the past 3+ years.

edit: also just found out this affects dual-clienting, since ppl can not monitor their other clients activities while that second client isnt the focus/active window.

    Settings>Effects>Non-Focus

    For some reason the patch defaulted everyone's graphics settings to minimum.
