Why is it that after I have not played for a couple of weeks all my purchases always get delayed.

It has been a few days since I last played and when I went to purchase in game currancy it was flagged pending. Why does this happen more often thatn not? this is one of the more obnoxious isssues that make me want to concider not using Arc for my games.
