This is an issue with all of the Fire aura pieces and all costume pieces with attachments, they do not effect the attachment layers. This is particularly annoying with the bracers pieces like Legendary Sentai because the pointy/stabby bit doesn't glow like the armor part when using this type of aura.

It's not that there is "nothing they can do" It's a pretty simple proccess to add zen to an account, and in this case it's only about $4 in value. They just have no reason to do it. In their defense, there is some neat math. 15% Key sale means the pack actually costs (3000-15%) =2550 Zen and the 20% bonus means for $20 you get (2000+20%) =2400 Zen So you just need 150 Zen to cover the difference and the Q exchange exists for moments like these. Too bad the sale ends in about 15 minutes.
