Assuming your dog even saw the ball fly out of the potato gun or could see far enough to have a chance of finding it. Move the goal too far and too fast and the dog loses sight of it.
Then you load the ball into a potato gun with UNITY on the side, fire the ball 6 blocks away, the dog looks at you and wonders why you don't want to play fetch.
It'd be nice if travel powers were their own retcon group. Unlike CoH we don't, and can't, pick travel powers at the expense of any other sort of power. Their advantage points are the only thing they potentially share with other powers.
Sometimes passives "force" you into hybrid. Seraphim on a blaster type or Regeneration on a scrapper type and you'll have to run in Hybrid instead of Ranged or Melee.
Positron thought putting in grindy raids with character bound elite currency was a good idea for CoH so too old isn't a defense against stupid major changes.
Does not wanting the trinity to spread to non-trinity games count as wanting the trinity removed? Trinity is lazy design and fosters toxic communities even tardigrades can't survive.
TERA, as far as I know, has always been a trinity game. It's also a bit of a different beast with its lack of tab targeting and tanks being expected to block/avoid damage most of the time and not just when the big "active defense" buttons are off their cool down. I'd rather not have trinity culture take root here. The bean…
When more trinity content is added overall player behavior will shift to trinity standards and Censoredcraft, for good or ill, is the standard bearer of trinity content and its fine upstanding community.
The queue does not wait for a 40 to pop a team into the mission. Usually if I'm not playing a 40 I don't get a 40 on my teams. If my lowbie isn't a support type those alerts are generally painful.
Is it already time for the numbers and pokemon schism over our version of nanny runs? Now if the whole team was naked I'd say it counts. A decked out team carrying one person doesn't really count.
Apparently the devs forgot it as well. Put all the new shinies (and the old ones as well) behind team and gear walls and then conveniently forget to update the reward rates of the solo content.
Acquisition rates for the general populace should not be using channel cliques as the baseline. Those in the rampagers channel are well above the baselines for skill and or gear of the general population. Just because .001% of a game population can do something in X amount of time does not make that something viable for…
Using Censoredcraft as an example, which is a greater benefit to the players: (DevEffort * .02 * PlayerPopulation) or (DevEffort * .8 * PlayerPopulation)?
^QFT Slapping set scaling Team:X for X >= 2 on content and you exclude people soloing on average or below characters from doing it on their own. Having something scale for team size and difficulty no one loses access to the content. Teams are *not* restricted to only doing Team:X content.
Which is why UNITY should not have a team tag on the final mission. If I have an AT with average gear doing UNITY to get better gear I shouldn't be forced to team because the teamsters felt like dirty soloists still have it too easy. If I wanted to team I wouldn't be wasting time on UNITY.
Now, if your complaint is that UNITY shouldn't go in a less-solo-friendly direction, that's something I can agree with; though I think making the ending missions slightly tougher - maybe around "team (2)" difficulty - would be fine, since someone on a squishy Inferno can still solo that difficulty - they just have to be a…
The first D in DDoS is Distributed. Hundreds to thousands of computers, spread across the globe, pitch a few kbps at Cryptic which adds up fast. Banning individual sources won't have a noticeable effect. Ban entire regions and you'll likely take out legit traffic. Firewalls do exactly jack and squat for this. The attackers…
Censoredcraft added STO's doffing and there has been very little positive feedback about it. Orclords of Orcnor hasn't had much positive press and garrisons are up there for most hated feature of the expansion.
I'd like for ATs to be more like the Disciple (my favorite AT, haven't even bothered freeforming it) in that they have some sort of self healing mechanism. KB wrecks them something fierce, if you can't hit the baddy in melee you can't heal with Ego Blades, so it's not like they put healers out of a job by being able to…
Both quotes seconded. Soloist is getting to be the new "dirty casual". It may be massively multiplayer online but I've never found the all teaming all the time in MMO that people seem to think is in there.
Tiny RNG chance to get an RNG chance to get the piece you want is exactly why I don't farm dungeons/raids/whatever for gear anymore. Add a deterministic booby prize that eventually gets you the loot you're after you've failed to roll high enough on the dice to score loot and I might consider doing it if that eventually is…
