Variations of this idea have been posted before periodically and totally ignored by PWE every time. I fully support this approach myself, but will be utterly shocked if this actually ever occurs.
Which reminds me out of morbid curiousity, did CO ever get that NWO bonus? The last thing I remember is TT saying it would be late but would eventually be released.
Love the gif, we all know how the test servers work in the other Cryptic games... Neverwinter is officially "live/released" in two weeks making this slightly less odd.
Interesting and completely unexpected. Should we nudge TT to see if we can an update/introduction from the Cryptic North team? If I'm remembering correctly Williams did interact with the player base over on Pirates of the Burning Sea.
I'm not really expecting any major changes (they certainly won't implement anything requiring hiring customer service staff to review things as that would cost significant amounts of money), so I'm just going to wait and see if anything actually happens.
The little floating guide orbs are a horrible color choice also, they don't stand out very well against the sky background color. They should of used a color that stands out and is easier to see.
You can do it with R2 flight (barely) also if you stay on the race course. I finished with 3 or 4 seconds left. Of course, I screwed up the first five times I tried the race course. The race really needs better course markers.
Yep, why not put it in rotation with the other specials or Gravitar's spot on the UI? The other potential spot is where they shoved Sky Command if it was going to be permanently available and not rotated with other alerts.
Kudos to Massively for this article. Whether it has any effect on how CO is being handled ia another matter entirely, as pointed out in this thread already.
That functionality was lost when Cryptic switched over to the Perfect World forums and software. I wouldn't expect that ability to come back anytime soon, if ever. Trail Turtle would be the one to ask about this though.
As they hand pick the questions they answer and the answers they give are mostly PR spin with no real substance most of the time, you probably wouldn't get any response at all.
Just a guess on my part but perhaps the 10% drop rate is being used to try and get people spending money on the vehicle stuff (which doesn't seem to be selling well). If people have a free vehicle to try out they are more likely to be interested in the vehicle mods or perhaps investing in a better vehicle.
