the only thing ironic here is that neither one of those sites have actually created anything to take credit for. Unless finding pictures from other sources and posting them in one place now constitutes creation. It also strikes me as odd to give an entire community credit for the creation of a meme (or whatever) rather…
i haven't reported it before, so sorry, i can't help you there (and sorry for sorta hijacking your thread). For the most part I just stuff people into ignore and forget they exist. :/
even though i chose a fairly a-sexual login name for the very purpose of avoiding this... I still get ERP requests on a frequent basis... To the point when people randomly PM me in game I usually just ignore it because,oh well, it's probably just another person wanting ERP which I have no interest in whatsoever. I used to…
AFAIK people have claimed that the Klingon faction wasn't fleshed out enough to be called a proper faction but I haven't played much STO and never as a Klingon. I love the Romulans, though. And Cardassians.
You are. When you are critical (and I use the term loosely) it usually comes with a "but..." Clearly it's not all that clear seeing as how people are calling you an apologist. Your mickey mouse critiques don't even scratch the surface of the problems with this game. Probably not directed at me, but, there is no rage in…
Well, I THINK I remember in some thread TT mentioned something about having frequent communication with the guys of Cryptic North. Still kinda fishy that not a one of them has come to the forums or anything and that Cryptic North hasn't been mentioned anywhere on the site/forums. :/
if this is all they are going to add to CO from here on in then unlock my freeform characters. What do they need my subscription money when clearly they are relying on lock boxes almost entirely? In fact not being able to access all but two of my characters is a huge reason why I don't play this game. But having access to…
Two of those are from amateur devs who don't even have an office. Most likely both will fail shortly into the development process. Not trying to be a nay sayer, just being realistic about amateur projects with no budget. The third I've never even heard of :/
Hey, i totally agree with you, man. The video game industry has had it too good for too long, now they are starting to push people to their limit. I'm also resolute in not buying Rome 2 Total War because I hate their DLC pushing, and releasing what seems like a gutted game. It's gotten worse with every iteration since they…
Then people need to stop talking and start doing. Unsubscribe. Stop playing. I did. Yeah, I'd rather be playing, but sometimes you gotta put your money where your mouth is... Not that it's very hard these days as it seems Cryptic/PWE don't even want people subscribing to their games lol
didn't they already tell us what to expect from the coming year? Auras and more temporary events? I wouldn't expect anything more even after this "announcement".
I am cautiously optimistic, cautious because as some have mentioned, they have been working on CO for 6+ months and we've yet to see anything significant. Still, I'm hoping for the best. I do find it strange there's been no word of this on the site, or any official announcement on the forum, just to alleviate the fears…
Except they did leave and they haven't come back. You are what I like to call a sucker. A chump. You wrap your lips around the funnel and swallow whatever bull**** comes from the other side. You'll even smile when they tell you it's chocolate.
Q: does anyone actually care about or want action figures? Just going out on a limb here, I think most people would prefer more costume pieces to action figures.
It really bums me out that after three days of people crashing the gates on the NWO forums Cryptic gets a SOTG out when we've been carrying on for so long without so much as a word to ease our concerns or confirm them. I really hate to think that their silence is really just them confirming our fears. Probably, though, if…
confirmed ~7 hour rollback. Rollbacks/server outtages don't affect me, I played NWO for five days and then immediately went back to playing Neverwinter Nights 2. I just really do not like the new 4.0 ruleset, so I wouldn't be playing regardless of the below, but I still can understand the frustration completely. Honestly…
Surely the upper management at Cryptic know about the growing general discontent (given how long this has been going on...) of CO's playerbase. It's quite sad that they don't have the respect for us to acknowledge it.
I did read those arguments and they were perfectly valid, being games developed by the same company and are still under the same banner. Sure, CoH was Jack's brain child, but Cryptic has moved on and NCsoft dev team (not sure what their studio was called) did a lot more for CoH than Crytpic ever did.
Or maybe you're being divisive by making the same arguments over and over again and frustrating many people on these boards? Maybe you want to look up the word hypocrite while you're at it? I don't have a "tendency" as I mentioned, this is the first time I've brought it up. In fact, you people are doing more to fuel the…
This is the only time I've even mentioned it. "divisive"? or did you mean derisive? Neither of which being the case, but whatever. let me quote myself for you, since reading the entirety of a thread is apparently not your forte.
herpderp it also had a few years on CoH, obviously its going to have more content. Nobody knows better than we, the people who have been playing CO for years, how badly mistreated this game is. This isn't about wanting to improve CO, it's for you people to ***** and moan that CO isn't CoH. It's tiresome.
Because we know about the comparisons, making the same comparison over and over again is redundant and irrelevant. It accomplishes nothing. It is proving nothing. I'm sorry your favorite game got shut down (I even played CoH myself for awhile, and yes, it was a fun game) but bringing it up on forum for a different (albeit…
