I thank you for posting the images of your contest winners. A lot of the costume contests are held during hours that I just cant make it due to having to sleep at least five hours a day.(I know, I know but an old man needs his rest)
The metals are easy as a quick scan of the periodic table gives several good names right off the bat. Metals such as Titanium, chromium, cobalt and tungsten. Not to forget gold, silver, copper, iron, tin, mercury, lead, and platinum. So as for the names how about something like the following: Steel Soldier Titanium Titan…
Bengal looks great, so that's another home run for you MG. I love how you constantly tweak and update your chars. The visor addition to Brit's helmet was a perfect touch and that's a great looking badge for Patrolman. If I may ask, where is the badge from?
Great stuff as always, Bluh. Quick question, which aura are you using on Wight Girl to get that see through effect? My ghost pirate would look great like that.
Good stuff there Biff. That was a huge undertaking but the end results justify all the pain and suffering you went through. Hunched over your tiny desk with only a small candle to illuminate your work. Meanwhile your miser of a boss keeps yelling about deadlines. Or maybe I have you confuzzled with someone else ;p
Just poking my head in here to see if the O.P. finalized this build. I've been trying to get a electric/ might build together for awhile. Flow and others have helped a bunch but I've never found the one that is that perfect fit. Now with the changes to electric I find myself once more pondering...
Kind of reminds me of the Atomic Skull, so with that in mind... Flaming Skull Deadhead X-Ray Bill (maybe it's not the x-ray radiation that causes him to change but rather the bill from the hospital?) X-Rad
I'm with MG on this, it's Jay Garrick all the way. I loved the golden age of comics and the Justice Society without a doubt was my all time favorite superhero group. I loved when the Justice League would have their yearly team-ups with the Justice Society.
Very cool. Always glad to see more costumes and concepts. I like Air Raid very much. The use of a lighter blue on the wings really makes the char pop in my opinion. Also, thumbs up to MG as well for sharing that backstory and also passing on sage advice as far as screenshots and image editing.
Hellrunner is amazing. Heck you took the time to even make costumes for the transformation! Loved the transition from the blues to the black and the winged boots from feathers to bat wings.
Thanks for the suggestions everyone. After consideration, I'm leaning more towards jester than clown. I'm liking that black, red and white jester pattern Maatmons. I had tried it on on of my attempts but didn't use three colors or the skirt. So, thanks for that idea.
Basically I have not settled on the power set yet. I figured that after I got the costume it would all come to me. So anything goes as far as that goes. The look on the other hand.....Something harlequin inspired not Harley Quinn if that makes sense. Basically if you were a female hero in the 1940's that used a clown…
Happy Anniversary! Great work as usual AC. I've already told you I absolutely love Miss Incarnates artwork, so thanks again for that. Also man that's a great picture of Coffin Baby. Love that caption....From Raver to Graver. Too perfect.
Brilliant costumes on your chars as usual. I love how you tied Federal Express costume and history into that of Frontrunner's. Even though Frontrunner is a bit more Jesse Quick inspired than Jay Garrick's, it still catches that Golden Age vibe quite nicely. Well done!
