  • This would be nice.
  • /signed. just imagined someone shooting bullets out of their eyes. Better yet, rocket fists. Talk about brow-beating somebody.
  • I wonder how long this will be true, "business promises" and all that. Should I start kissing my seldom used DCUO characters good-bye? lol
  • That part's named Tony Stark so there's not much I can do about that. :frown:
  • True, though part of me hopes this forces CO and so forth into pushing this game in other ways rather than being lazy or complacent or whatever and relying on Massively.
  • I love the idea, especially,
  • While it is generally sad to see people lose their jobs (unless they had it coming), as unpopular as this may seem, I don't see what the big deal here is. It's just business as they say. This is par for the course for media corporations. Then again, most forms of journalism always seem lacking to me these days so maybe I'm…
  • Agreed with a lot of suggestions in this thread thus far. Unity is great for extending the game a bit.
  • Agreed. Those are some cool powers too. Indeed. A "gun" emanation point would greatly expand the concepts people could utilize for this game.
  • A heal gun would be nice. I'd also wish they would do something similar with other projection based attacks. Being able to shoot fire or ice from a gun would be nice. Somewhere, Captain Cold and Mr. Freeze are weeping.
  • Banned for needing a reason to ban. BANS FOR THE BAN GOD
  • These would be nice, especially number one. It is rather amazing how many new people aren't aware of blocking. I really like number 2 as well, though wish they would integrate the concept of hero types/styles into it for further role-playing/immersion possibilities.
  • This is pretty much how I feel about the whole thing. The level of talent that worked on the old movie far surpasses this one so that alone creates some problems. Hell a mere remake with the same genders would make me shake my head at Hollywood's continued creative bankruptcy but I look forward to inevitably being called…
  • I don't care how much hate I get for this: Point and click is for plebs. WASD Masterrace.
  • Well, I'm willing to give it a try granted they get Doom right- Burn it to the ****ing ground. I want nothing to do with this movie.
  • Raids are a funny thing. Differs from game to game of course and are absolutely wonderful with a guild you know or friends. Beyond that they can be very annoying. Reminds me of Neverwinter sadly. It's at the point where it is considered a bad idea to run with a group comprised of people in the same guild (and you being the…
  • /signed. A 3rd travel power would be nice as well.
  • I'm all for additional ones but only if they make sense, since most titles seem to be pop culture references. That and I'm sure a mere switch of the pronouns on some of these titles turn these things into names of or references to blockbuster movies into names of porn movies (hardcore or softcore, take your pick). However,…
  • That was the first thing that came to mind. That said, are we getting mad about shirts again? http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/events/shirtstorm https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n2Y6VH4PShQ
  • It feels good to know I'm not the only one. I honestly used to think I was. Now if only name changes were cheaper....:biggrin: The ones in Neverwinter make me weep. :|
  • Because if I could use all my powers including level specific power at level 10 I would and not bother with leveling up over and over again (actually that would be kind of fun now that I think about it...) or complain about it. Not all of us play with freeforms (I only have 3 out of my 20+ toons and ATs are surprisingly…
  • More often than not, if something is worth it, people will pay money for something. And I think that's something that is often overlooked in these kind of situations. For example if Vibora Bay had been paid for content, people probably would have bought it. In this case, there is an obvious disconnect between what the devs…
  • Well yes, that was my original point. Goodness gracious. Come now, that was an obviously provocative and somewhat fun statement made to force you to clarify your point in regards to what I had been talking about...in each post....in this thread.......(ellipses are fun). But yeah, there's no real point in…
  • And I'm referring to the article mostly, which is why I keep referring to the presentation of the information in the original article. It casts doubt on a situation and doesn't help the article (and the people writing it). When I was done reading it, it made me wonder if he was pissy that people disliked something he liked…
  • Hyperbole (or more appropriately BS) if I ever saw one. Being concerned about bias in an article presented with obvious bias is not BS. But I'm sure its only critical if it fits your definition. That said I simply said I wonder. I questioned what I was seeing. Apparently that's offensive to some people. Maybe I should just…
  • As opposed to the flip side of things. The article is very obviously biased and does a poor job presenting information and forces me to assume they are honest and not biased as well as the developer being unbiased and honest for anything they say to really work. I'd say there's quite a bit of assumptions right there. Some…
  • That was a pretty good video. And I absolutely agree. I'd rather see new heroes as opposed to rehashed characters. Some of my favorite characters are comparatively new. As for this cover, I'm of two minds about this. I'm not offended and the fact that it is a variant cover makes me less bothered/worried about this. I've…
  • That doesn't fly in a news article ("news"), especially when the developers stand to gain from people believing them. They are free to comment but the article should have made a greater effort to illustrate what they were taking about. I mean, the article is slanted enough as it is. Even if this were a straight-forward…
  • I'm not entirely bothered by the trains but like many others, I'd prefer some weapons. New ones are nice. Old ones, like those dastardly unlockables that seem to have vanished are better.
  • It's annoying as hell to play the same game content over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and…
  • I've always felt that the game seriously needed a quest system that was tied into the role or kind of character your character was (be it a superhero that went after larger threats or more a vigilante that dealt with street level threats and so on). Given the various settings that exist within the game, I'm sure they could…
  • The author sounds biased (and he makes it obvious why) and makes little effort to actually show examples of these low ratings, expecting us to take his word for something he is admittedly biased on. It also bothers me that he has taken it upon himself to browbeat people for not spending money they way they want them to…
  • It honestly depends on your playstyle. One can make any AT work well but that doesn't speak to how enjoyable it is. I can go through damn near anything (even lairs and bosses) with my Inventor but I honestly hate using it since it is such a boring process. Personally, I like Soldier best, with Behemoth and Savage close…
  • Pretty much, among other things. Like in Neverwinter, I think there should be tiers as far as companions go, some that one could work towards obtaining in-game and better or flashier ones that can be bought, either through in game currency or real money more or less. A sword coast adventures type set-up for CO companions…
  • You came to the wrong neighborhood.jpg lol
  • Aside from this game, Neverwinter Creation Kit, er I mean Skyrim (I spend more time modding than playing) Audiosurf because I don't have that much time to play most games and need a mindless time waster. Fallout New Vegas (I guess - I spend more time modding this as well) DCUO (I guess - it has been a few months now - I…
  • Agreed with both. And sure it was a glitch, but it was a fun one.
  • This is what telepathy should have been from the get go.
  • This would be interesting. /signed
  • It would not surprise me if it came to PC. It's not like PC will never ever get it.
  • That would be awesome. Some of my fondest memories in other mmos is going to an area with people far stronger than me and seeing how far I could go before getting one-shotted or randomly encountering an enemy far stronger than anything within that vicinity. Also, it would be pretty cool if some of the stronger characters…

  • I guess I can buy that. The only thing that bothers me is that we see in other situations physical bodies coming and going through it. People from other time periods to fight against and with. Oh time travel, will you ever cease to be vexing?
  • It would be cool if they touched on that. Makes me wonder about the other tech-based villains we've seen. It would be fun if they showed some awareness of what Mechanon is doing.
  • Given all the threads where people compared this game to CoH, constantly citing why that game is better than this one, some people are now surprised that they are implementing similar features? In any case the news sounds interesting. I'll wait for the thing to come out before passing judgment about it. This post has been…
  • Given the ending, it makes me wonder why we don't run into ourselves at some point.
  • Official Thread Music: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wbq-8FYpYPo
  • Exemptions are allowed. There are a number of them actually. The system is designed to create an actual fighting force so that's not the best excuse either.
  • Banned for having a sig more interesting than mine.
  • Funny because she used to be in the military.
