  • It often does not say his name during the announcement phase either. This is why me and my friends like to call him: Hrodgeir the Unspeakable.
  • Depends really heavily on the rest of the build IMHO. If you are going to stun things frequently then Taking the mastery that gives a super Mend for that can be extremely effective for healing. You can break this with venomous breath. If you are just going to throw around an occasional heal but mostly focus on single…
  • Honestly I could do what they suggest and no one would even come close to dying with my main healer. My Tank might let a few through depending on what the other folks did.
  • Sounds good to me. At the very least the blocking idea should be considered.
  • The Tiger and Leopard ones are good but even if you color the markings the same they bleed into one of the other colors. So you will see rosets either on the back or belly and or stripes unless everything is the same color which sort of defeats the purpose.
  • It is way out of line with what it should cost. It is primarily a Melee Single Target attack. Most UP (Which are ranged AoE) cost only around the 80 to 90 range to activate so 146 is insane. I am rather certain it is not meant to cost that much. That may be the case but I have no idea what. I know of a friend with the same…
  • Here is a screen capture of it without my Toggle on. I do have it at Rank 3. Devastating Strike.
  • Really? I do not have much CR at all and yeah it costs me 165 Energy to activate it. I am sensing a bug. Same is true for a friend of mine.
  • Is this a bug for me or is Devastating Strike supposed to cost 165 Energy? Because that is insane! I can barely make it trigger using Rush but for a Melee UP you would think it would have a much smaller Energy Cost than other UP who get fired off at considerably less.
  • I recently noticed that too. Odd that they suddenly vanished. It would be interesting to know what happened there.
  • *shrug* I almost never use travel powers while in combat unless I have a flying themed character. Not sure I want to use this one on anyone I currently have but I like the idea of it.
  • If you really want to be practical then be it. If not then deal with the consequences. I really find half measures to be silly because they just lead to more half measures which lead to more of them until you would end up in this scenario. I mean: I for one hate Bubbles, Sigils, Wind Powers, Some Fire Powers, and a number…
  • Then why not take it to the logical conclusion? Disable all visual FX for both Players and the Monsters aside from the Tells. Set all players to absolute minimum size and lock them there. Disable all travel powers. Disable all environmental effects. Have the fights take place in a room that uses the fewest possible…
  • I would prefer it actually act like a Planar Fracture and spew out random creatures to attack the enemy. Nightmares, worms, qliphotic things, demons, angels. Maybe even have a little random chance of summoning up awesome things like Super Heroes but also a small chance to summon something bad that attacks you.
  • They are on a similar level to summoning the big spider or so. They can do some useful things and generally survive well enough. So they are a pretty solid pet but nothing more special. Considering you cannot really control them though they are not as precise as becomes but considering that they do not really detract from…
  • Grond is not a big deal is he? He usually just kills some of the robots for you.
  • What about a Robot that you do not want to be hulking due to the ridiculously large male model? Or a reptile female like a lizard, snake, or dinosaur, or dragon which would obviously not HAVE breasts (... Because ya'know... They are reptiles and not mammals.). Or even maybe a manimal that would possibly not display human…
  • Because it is again a frustration: Snake Gulch is another prime example. Everyone says "Hit Team Up". Why? What good does it do me? My team could be at any of four very distant locations and I have absolutely NO WAY to know where they are except trying to ask each one which would be a real mess. So I cannot really get any…
  • Here is another thing about GRABS: Some of us already have lvl 40's and want to work up another build. I do not want to be forced to grind through lots of zoning, back and forth fetch quests, and other nonsense for every toon I make. I already have great disdain for having to bother with the Pre-Appocolypse for Vibora for…
  • If that is the case then the Circles and Summoned Pets with Circles need a rethink.
  • Firstly I would really love a Dolphin Tail as opposed to the Shark Tail and Fins we currently have. Next as just an Emblem that could go where all Emblems can go it would be nice to have the Rod of Asclepius which is the REAL symbol of healers and medicine. Currently we have the Caduceus which is the symbol of Commerce and…
  • Amen. Please do.
  • So really we are finding some sort of a bug here.
  • What's the matter? Your DPS'er can't handle Duraclad? They really don't deal much damage. I have stood right between them tanking them with my DPS'er many times and never had to use anything aside from normal healing powers on occasion. This is with no healers or beneficial Auras in sight mind you. I mean I can understand…
  • beezeeze is correct as to what I want. Let us take Mega D's as an example. So you split them up with one group at the Museum and one near the Street right? Now if I am a healer the only Health Bars I really see easily and the only people I can target well are those literally on my team. So if I am at the Street D and my…
  • Uhm... They already DO this. Exactly like you wrote them. Ontop of that you gain more stacks per trigger when you have them ranked up. You always have 1 stack even with R1. They also give you energy whenever they pop. You are talking about Toggles like Enrage right?
  • I am talking about Open Missions like Events and Destroids Rise Again and such. You still can only have a team of 5 people. You cannot team with more than 5 people. So it would be very practical.
  • That does not change my point. They should be able to alter to the new level just like your Side-Kicks do.
  • I would VERY much love to have something telling me rather I had unlocked a power or not. At the very least can it simply not even appear as an option if I have not unlocked it? That would take care of the problem.
  • Does not really diminish the fact that your builds are not all that accessible to your average player which is the crux of the argument here. Certainly someone outfitted the very best and with the very top end DPS build could chew through all of this even faster yet but that is similar to saying that Superman can out…
  • Eh. The only ones I have done are Gravitar and SC and of those the only ones I have managed to get folks competent enough to complete is Gravitar. SC usually fails almost instantly when you finally get someone to take it on. I would say they need to get rid of the RNG reward system altogether for everything that is not…
  • It still says in its description that it deals damage to everything within 25 feet of your character but it does not actually do this.
  • Seriously we are still doing the BoP Auras? Why? Just why? Not every character is well designed to handle this event and I would like Auras for those that are not but I can't get them because buying an Aura fixes it to the character that bought it. That is NOT a good way to encourage participation.
  • I really am perplexed as to why it was decided that Pillar and Expulse which have typically fit into the class of abilities I call: "Get the F Off me!" who's sole purpose is to give you some breathing room have had that main function placed as an advantage and had their damaged nerfed?
  • You are probably not on when I play but maaaybe.
  • Making Skarn's Bane even more useless (Why are we doing that again?) Making Hex sort of pointless, Destroying what tiny use Illumination had and making Celestial Conduit even more situational all seem to be notable downsides to me. Most of the time these changes are positive (except for when they decided 2Gun needed to be…
  • ^This. Though I do play for some amazing battles and awesome content I just do not have the time to do them when they can be done as opposed to just whenever I like. I do not like doing anything that feels like work and all of this mindless grinding is basically just that. I do not mind doing Alerts now and then and events…
  • It is not horrible it just isn't as good as many other shields. The damage it deals is okay at best and drains your energy. Also sometimes when you shield you do NOT want to be dealing damage so that can be a problem.
  • With the Energy Shield + Laser Knight you can sort of have a shield out when you do melee attacks. A good Knight set with shield bash stuns and stuff would be nifty though. Amaterasu sort of threw shields but technically they were mirrors... Does that count? Also Arthur in Ghosts and Goblins throws a shield as a weapon.
  • I would agree with the giving it a lower priority and making it attack your target or even the one it was summoned on only. After all, if I use ER I kind of want the damage to be on that thing. It will deal more damage to that thing because of ER's debuff.
  • Gravity Driver seems to be considering itself a Wind Power for some reason these days.
  • They do sort of reduce threat with their aggression stealth. These are okay as a means to setup a passive healing zone, especially if you are using other threat reduction/stealth things like Support Role, the Dark passive and such. It is also much more useful in combination with other passive heals like Medical Nanites…
  • Yay for bugs and I wish the Lariats and such would stay 50 feet to be proper knock-to's.
  • ^This pretty much sums it up fro me. I am not going to bother grinding all that much. I frankly do not have the time and I refuse outright to ever play with the RNG. Screw that. I will do something for a reward that is 100% but not for a reward that may never happen. As for TA and the Cosmics eh... I am not really…
  • Dealing decent damage is honestly being generous with the Cooldown in mind.
  • What I mean about the flying enemy is that when you pull them to you they cannot be attacked. If you instead walked over to them you could attack them constantly. If you lunge at them you can attack them constantly. There is not that break where you cannot attack them with other powers. 2.5X the distance sounds like a lot…
  • I tend to strongly disagree. They really are an either or with lunges. Many lunges paralyze or knock down the target thus effectively stopping them just like a knock-to would and in some cases more reliably. Many lunges also snare or root and all have Nailed to the Ground on them. This means they are very effective at…
  • Indeed they should be around the range of a lunge or closer to it. At 25 it is just 15 from being in melee range which is super short. Too short really.
  • Well it does give a cost discount to your attacks but that is only relevant in particular builds.
