  • Late to the party, as usual, on these topics. My only input will be on the defense layering for PFF: Before a good number of posts from 2012 were archived, I personally worked with Gentleman Crush to get the layering adjusted properly to be the manner in which Ravenforce has stated at the start of this thread.

  • To be fair, Kinetic Manipulation didn't exist at the start of the Force Powerset. Field Surge was tagged as an Energy Form for the purpose of 1) overshield (no interaction with PFF at the time of release), and 2) popping off FC
  • Lately, since coming back, I've seen my shield plummet very quickly after popping Field Surge. The whole defensive aspect of the Force Powerset needs to be looked at.

  • Be careful making new power suggestions. Last time I did that vehicles got Singularity Bomb and Gravity Pulse.

  • I'm quite fond of the way Ego Sprites is now. It's back to how it was when the game launched. Sleep a mob, run in with Sprites and other Telepathy DoT (they don't break sleep), and carry on with the next mob.

  • I can honestly say that I like the look of this build. It reminds me of when I had my tank built with Might/PFF. Sturdy, for the most part, and good damage mitigation with knocks. Hits pretty hard as well. I had a lot of fun as Might/PFF and I hope you find the same enjoyment that I did.

  • Pump Impact Prisms (highest rank you can get) into your Primary Defense gear. Cost/Cooldown redux into Utility, and Growth into Primary Offense.   • Why are all of the new things focused solely in Millennium City? These things could very well be "global" events. I would like to see something come out that actually get players out of MC.   • My EGO Con/Rec Cascader has no issues firing off a full Cascade either. No energy form required and can still maintain enough DPS to hold aggro against most bosses when I run alerts with her.
  • I misinterpreted what you meant in your post. Sorry for that. I'm all for a faster regen, but it doesn't need to be overly complicated. We can do away with the varying shield regen, just keep it a static number and increase the shield regen tick rate to 1.5 seconds.
  • I don't think that my nearly 10% shields per shield regen tick (base at 100% shield strength) is too low. It only gets to be too low when this varying shield regen kicks in as the shield takes damage. At the 8.2k shields that I have on my main, he gets ~795 per shield regen (base).   • So, I got to thinking about the original pitch. Perhaps if Containment Blast had an internal cooldown that didn't affect the base power. Much like Kunai w/ Chain on the Shuriken power.
  • Two Gun Mojo cost is just fine. Killer Instinct and Concentration, even had a spare advantage point to put into Accelerate Metabolism on Two Gun. I can maintain it just fine 3-4 full maintains before I have to have a "breather".

  • Personal Force Field punishes the user for trying to mitigate damage to HP. Once the shield is broken there is no passive as steady damage is enough to keep the shield from regenerating properly, even while blocking to get the shield regen boost.
