A few months ago, but yeah, great runs if you managed to get into MC #1, nowhere near enough time to finish it in any other instance.
I picked up the subligar that can make your legs disappear; I really ought to try to gather the tokens to get the other parts, but it really does turn into a grind in short order. I get bored and run off to do other things instead.

No matter how many times I solo that Radio Shack-looking bucket of nuts, it won't put Sister Silicon Prime on its $#!^ List where she clearly belongs.
(I unlocked the TV head. That's all I wanted. I'll accumulate the rest when I think of a use for them.)
Choose your enemies carefully, because they will define you / Make them interesting, because in some ways they will mind you
They're not there in the beginning, but when your story ends / Gonna last with you longer than your friends
I'm taking this one slow; I've got all the mechanon minion pieces now, and am starting to work on the junkbot parts. It is rather grindy if you sit down to grind it... which is why I don't; I run the missions when I see someone in zone asking for help, or encounter someone who doesn't know about them. They're good missions! Just, not enough of them to avoid being grindy if you do them every day.
Project Clockwork was definitely the best chunk of content to come out of Cryptic North, even with the mis-managed Automaton AT. All of its associated costumes are very high quality and well done - the two sets we can get with tokens as well as the lockbox set.
I remember being in 2 or 3 several times when we beat Mechanon. Loud huzzahs resounded from the Champions HQ all the way to Westside. As I recall, it was a bit like herding cats though.
Now, that would be something for the wiki, a page on this event with the various dos and don'ts.

I have only unlocked half of it, maybe less than that. I only grabbed what I thought I would see myself using at the time to make costumes. If I have a time where I am making a look and think "X piece from Y set from the Mechanon missions would do nicely with this", I'll go farm tokens again and get those parts.
It took me a while to unlock all the costumes, farming the final mechanon mission with multiply characters speed up the token farming
I'm glad that I got all the costumes, the junkbot robotic arms and legs were useful additions of two specific characters
Having ALT-itis has it's Benefits in farming
I missed the Mechanon Mega-D HiJack event, I was MILES away from home that period
POWERFRAME REVAMPS, NEW POWERS and BUG FIXES > Recycled Content and Events and even costumes at this point Introvert guy who use CO to make his characters playable and get experimental with Viable FF Theme builds! Running out of Unique FF builds due to the lack of updates and synergies! Playing since 1 February 2011 128 + Characters (21 ATs, 107 FFs) ALTitis for Life!
Thanks to the event many people got to get all the pieces without actually playing the missions. And since there is no rare loot to drop and there is no repeat purchase item, its pretty much a pointless bit of content.
I haven't bothered to finish it. Got a couple of characters as far as the satellite, but that's it. Mostly I just use "Heat Wave" to start each character out with a cool 500q for a quick run around, and then move on to other things.

For some powersets, the brains are a pretty easy run - a bit of a slog, but it pays out in Q at the end - and then there's the robots in the sewer, which are only a real problem if you don't yet know how to handle aggro in this game (I kind of miss Poe's original end, where you had to handle the roving groups of mobs in the room before tackling the big guy in the middle; that taught a lot about tactics). I tend to give the endgame on the Steel Crusade arc a miss, though. It's not nearly entertaining enough to make up for the hassle.

Got all Mechanon's pieces and some junkbot limbs, but I have no use for the rest of junkbot parts.
For me there's nothing else of interest to buy with tokens, so... I'm running MC Mechanon missions only when I'm sufficiently bored and I need some more Q.
After a two runs I'm avoiding Cislunar mission. For me its novelty environmental mechanic is tedious and no fun to play. Not worth the effort to go through it.
(Psst - reinstall when partner's not looking, and play as Silver. Not as good, but you take what you can get sometimes, ya know?)

Very little motivation to play this game these days for longer periods of time, it gets a bit repetitive.

Now, if he was "Pretty Magical Girlanon" or "Sexy Furryanon" then the costume pieces would likely be something that would interest me OwO
My super cool CC build and how to use it.
