So, it seems like someone got fired, or took an extended vacation right when they were about to finish the power armor set.
Laser swords all look the same, there are options to change the weapon type and color, but they do nothing. It would be nice to have these options, y'know.. like.. work. Having a bigger laser sword for big mecha types and hulking aliens would be a good addition, the current one looks like a toothpick on bigger heroes.
A bunch of the powered armor pop-out weapons have color options,but they don't actually pop out in the tailor.. which means you are coloring them blind. I doubt that is what y'all had in mind, and if it was, please rethink.
These issues have been left on the backburner for years, but they should really be dealt with.

Next time make a pts alt, would save you the time and money wasted on live

Ah, well Finn suggested that female power armor weapons could be colored and the thread he linked talked about the wrist bolters. Now it should be noted that I have a lot of toons, and as a lifer I get a bunch of recon tokens for free. For me it wasn't a huge sacrifice, the toon I used to test this was already level 40 and had 6 tokens, and so now I'm down to 5, but seeing as I basically ended up putting all my powers back to the way I had them after experimenting at the power house and tailor it was a waste non the less.
I wasn't terribly upset about taking the time to check things out or wasting a token. Someone had a comment, someone posted some information, so I thought I'd check to see if the information was correct. I'd have been super happy if I found out that this was something I hadn't known all these years. I discovered that it wasn't. I posted my reply and would have said nothing else if Finn had said "Oh, well it used to work" or something like that. But that wasn't the case and so I was a bit miffed.
Like I said, not a big deal for me, but someone who doesn't have as much invested into the game might have been left with a real sour taste in their mouth because of this.
Well I might have done this, but I was already logged into live at the time, and I thought Finn was someone I could trust. Anyways, no money lost, only a free resource, and time would have been wasted either way. But as I said earlier, better someone like me, with the resources to spare, discover the cruel little prank than someone with limited resources.
Cryptic did mess with PA weapons sometime ago, with no great success. All the weapons went to default blue/white/red colors.
