Might/Force build advice sought

Alright I have the build pretty much ironed out but I do have a question or two I'd like answered.

First, however, allow me to present the build itself.

PowerHouse (Link to this build)

Name:

Archetype: Freeform

Super Stats:
Level 6: Strength (Primary)
Level 10: Constitution (Secondary)
Level 15: Intelligence (Secondary)

Talents:
Level 1: The Devastator
Level 6: Impresario
Level 9: Accurate
Level 12: Coordinated
Level 15: Covert Ops Training
Level 18: Paramilitary Training
Level 21: Amazing Stamina

Powers:
Level 1: Force Bolts (Energy Refraction)
Level 1: Beatdown (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 6: Roomsweeper (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 8: Invulnerability (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 11: Force Shield (Force Sheathe)
Level 14: Enrage (Endorphin Rush)
Level 17: Mighty Leap
Level 20: Resurgence (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 23: Force Cascade (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 26: Molecular Self-Assembly
Level 29: Haymaker (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 32: Unbreakable (Better You Than Me)
Level 35: Conviction
Level 38: Ego Surge (Nimble Mind)

Travel Powers:
Level 6: Heroic Flight (Rank 2, Rank 3, Fanfare)
Level 35: Mach Speed (Rank 2)

Specializations:
Strength: Physical Peak (3/3)
Strength: Aggression (2/2)
Strength: Brutality (2/2)
Strength: Juggernaut (3/3)
Vindicator: Aggressive Stance (2/2)
Vindicator: Merciless (3/3)
Vindicator: The Rush of Battle (3/3)
Vindicator: Modified Gear (2/2)
Guardian: Fortified Gear (3/3)
Guardian: Locus (2/2)
Guardian: Ruthless (2/2)
Guardian: The Best Defense (3/3)

It's pretty self explanatory and nothing that hasn't been done, I'm certain. It's my take on the classic Super Hero archtype, super strength, super durable, with a nice ranged punch thrown in as well.

I imagine I'll be using Roomsweeper to build enrage, haymaker as the big boss killer, with force cascades thrown out both as openers when I want to clear a big crowd and send them flying and when the proc goes off from firing the end builder here and there.

Now I'm curious, as I can't get on the test server at the moment, as to whether or not Haymaker has a cooldown? If it does I can see peppering beatdown, which I would love, between Haymakers as my single target DPS.

If not, however, I can't see using beatdown, at which point I think I'd reorder the build to slot in either force snap as a knock to move, before firing off Roomsweeper, or Frost Breath with it's advantage, for a quick tap to freeze the crowd turning Roomsweeper into a knockup instead, which admittedly would be better for alerts, I imagine.

As always any other thoughts or advice is always welcome, but the above is my main questions over what will suit the build better as I hate having an attack in the build that will never really see any use.

I recently built a PFF/Might tank which worked nicely, the discussion thread from that is over here. It might be worth reading over.

As to your question, Haymaker does not have a coodown. Energy management in Might without both form and passive in-set can be pretty rough.

Might/Force is pretty much right in my wheelhouse; it's my favorite hybrid build type. I can tell you from lots of experience with this combo that you will be energy hungry with Invincibility, especially if you intend to fire off any FC's. Without more END, you won't even be able to fully charge it. AoPM can alleviate this well, and Defiance with tertiary REC can at least have you tap-spamming it somewhat, as long as you're taking hits.

AoPM works very well with this combo and can feel very heroic. It's not as squishy as you might think and is well complemented by the AD's you've chosen. I went with Unbreakable(BYTM) and Masterful Dodge, as I find Conviction/Rush of Battle/Endorphin Rush to be sufficient healing with the high Health you'll have (as long as you're regularly defeating multiple mobs and not bosses, as RoB is otherwise useless and would be better replaced with one of the crit chance boosts. Modified Gear is inferior to the latter as well, IMO).

I also went with the Might energy builder, as it allows you to spec right into Roomsweeper, freeing you up to take Unleashed Rage, which is difficult to omit from a Might/Force build, IMO. I find UR to be very Force-like, thereby not making the build seem so much like a Might build with FC tacked on. Force knocks are not as reliable for building Enraged stacks as Might knocks are, so replacing Roomsweeper as your primary Enraged builder with a Force power is difficult. I find Force Snap to be unreliable for bringing mobs into melee range anyway.

To make you more Alert-friendly, Burning Chi Fist is a passable Haymaker replacement. Against regular mobs, it will be comparable DPS without the knocks. Against knock-resistant mobs like bosses, Haymaker is superior. Unbreakable and Aggressor can keep you in Enraged stacks in situations where knocks are socially unacceptable. Unfortunately, there's not a lot of room for a stun power that would make Roomsweeper a knock up, but you could do away with an AO if desired.

Thank you for the responses, both of you. I changed the talents around for more endurance and I plan to gear for some as well to help with the Energy issues.

As for FC and it's use as long as I can manage a half charge with it as an opener when I want, I think that will suit me fine as otherwise I will be using it when the energy form procs from the Force Bolts advantage as I don't mind throwing a few Energy builders here and there with this build since the advantage procs at a fairly nice rate from previous experience using it in my Golden Sentinel build.

Alright so here is the updated build I have laid out with the advice I've been given here.

    PowerHouse (Link to this build)

    Name:

    Archetype: Freeform

    Super Stats:
    Level 6: Strength (Primary)
    Level 10: Constitution (Secondary)
    Level 15: Intelligence (Secondary)

    Talents:
    Level 1: The Devastator
    Level 6: Bodybuilder
    Level 9: Boundless Reserves
    Level 12: Energetic
    Level 15: Tireless
    Level 18: Paramilitary Training
    Level 21: Amazing Stamina

    Powers:
Level 1: Force Bolts (Energy Refraction)
    Level 1: Beatdown (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 6: Roomsweeper (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 8: Invulnerability (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 11: Mighty Leap
    Level 14: Enrage (Endorphin Rush)
    Level 17: Aggressor
    Level 20: Haymaker (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 23: Molecular Self-Assembly
Level 26: Force Cascade (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 29: Resurgence (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 32: Unbreakable (Better You Than Me)
    Level 35: Conviction
Level 38: Ego Surge (Nimble Mind)

    Travel Powers:
Level 6: Heroic Flight (Rank 2, Rank 3, Fanfare)
Level 35: Mach Speed (Rank 2)

    Specializations:
    Strength: Physical Peak (3/3)
    Strength: Aggression (2/2)
    Strength: Brutality (2/2)
    Strength: Juggernaut (3/3)
    Vindicator: Aggressive Stance (2/2)
    Vindicator: Merciless (3/3)
Vindicator: The Rush of Battle (3/3)
    Vindicator: Modified Gear (2/2)
    Guardian: Fortified Gear (3/3)
    Guardian: Locus (2/2)
    Guardian: Ruthless (2/2)
    Guardian: The Best Defense (3/3)

I think the plan will be to level it up in this fashion and at 40, use my respec to replace Beatdown with Unleashed Rage. Though I still may try defiance or AoPM as well if the build feels to energy starved as I level and gear it up.
