Launcher not launching.

Steam launcher is broken and fails to update. Requesting ETA on fix.

    Don't think its broke. I think its maintenance related. ETA would be when its done i think 0930 Pacific.

    They're fixing/fixed the Firefox issues and broke something else. Perfectly normal, nothing to see here. :biggrin:

    My launcher currently shows the server is live, but the news updates are from February of last year and I can't get past "Connecting to Account Server." This is actually slightly better than I was getting a bit ago, when the launcher wouldn't load at all...

    Having troubles myself with the client window stuck on "Connecting to Account Server" after I typed in my user name and password.

    Yeah, I'm getting the same thing. This isn't the first time this has happened to me.

    Haven't tried yet this morning (been busy), but last night I had that problem with both CO and STO. After a while, it went away. Hoping that's the case here; on the other paw, if it's an intermittent failure, those can be a bear to figure out.

    It didn't work for me earlier today, but now it does.
