Elementalist Dragon Build

Hello there people, I've decided to try and make an Elementalist Dragon build for some time now but having great difficulty in doing so due to the powers in CO are not that easy/great to mix and meld.

The build I'm trying to go for is mostly an Fire dealing damage, but trying to mix Ice/Fire/Toxin/Lighting in the mixt, but as they are really hard to build and make so if anyone can help me on this that be geart, If the build doesn't go well as such, I'll try an mix of Fire/Lighting or Toxin/Lighting, as I'm not too much of a fan of Ice.

Or if possible an Fire/Toxin/Lighting build, I'm still trying builds around to see what I really want, but if you chuold post builds now I can get ideas off that be geart, I'll post my own build later once I've got the basic idea that I whuold like.

Now be warned, this may be the hardest build I've ever done, or it chuold be an easy one, like the Unarmed build was, so please take caution when on this topic.

Looking forward to seening your builds!, I'll have mine posted as soon as possible!

Alright here is the build I have so far, I've decided to go with an Fire/Ice/Lighting build, please note that yes I do not have any SS/Specs/Tals yet because I'm sorting the >Powers< out first

I'm really unsure what passive is best, to deal both Ice/Fire/Lighting damage, but Fiery form is what I have atm, so hopefully this build will work out to deal both I/F/L damage. I've remvoed the toxin due to theres not much geart powers in them.

Hmm, all attacks so far? Probably best to first off tell folks the 2-4 attacks that are your thematic must-haves. Then they can suggests energy unlocks, forms, AOs, stats, specs, and defensive powers/heals. Should also clarify the role you are imagining. That will affect the choice of the most suitable passive.

Oh hay Jazz, just noticed it was you and yeah I will do no worry, I'm still building this build and well Im moreless thinking maybe an Tank or Ranged. not sure yet.

Just small thing I want to add, is it ok to have two Breath power or is that lack-custer? and not needed, so just be blunt with my waste of slot?. Also another thing I want to bring up, is it safe to have an fire bolt and then ice blast? or can that mess up a few things?

Alright so, I've decided to go TANK build, this Dragon build is built to take damage, but can also dish out far amount of damage. I've got this so fa and all powers here so far and Thematic-Must-Have.

I've picked PFF over others because I really enjoy the 2nd HP bar, as for so far I got main fire attacks, but as this is an new build I'm trying its going to take a while. I'll post more on this build as I work into it.

Edit 1: Alright so it seems that Lighting is not mixing very well with my attacks, filling to much attacks then passives, so I'll go for the Standard Fire & Ice.

Alright so, I've made some changes from the last builds I have been messing around with, seems I can't quite get the good lighting mix in there so I've gone for a pure Ice & Fire build with an PFF shield for shielding and I'm in Tank Role.

I've done my best to get an share amount of powers, with some passives and EU, with an shield and two active EFs.

Also please note, that I have no got any SS/Specs/Tals as you can see as Im unsure what to pick, so bare that in mind before you post, as an reminder I'll like an Tank based build with altlest some DPS capabilities, all ranks/advs on powers will be started once the powers I've picked are alright to go or if someone else suggests otherwise

Humm, it all depends really, they are almost the same thing in some way, just with diffenrt types of aceptes, but I'll look into your build regardless, seems you've gone for what I originally planned to witch is nice. Im still tempted just to go with the normal fire and ice build tho, as I don't really see my Toon welding lighting, but I'll have a quick look still.

Alright so looking at Bad Breath Day thingy, and I've tryed to make an build around that, the only issue is that I'm running out of Adv points and literarily as I was sitting here sorting it out, I swore about 5 times.

Yes. 5 TIMES, the build seems to be quite close to the one in the build, but mixed with my own build as well, I've picked most power that where suggested.

    1. One Good Active Defense

    2. One Good Healing

    3.Ego Surge

    4. Rimefire Burst

As for other powers, they mostly bend off my build too, an power builder and single blast, can't really live without that type of set-up. I've picked an shield and Pyre as do like the DOT/AoE

Then I picked Fury of the Dragon, due to kinder seems fitting but I can remove this power, (the damage on this thing is shiz)

So I can save my rank points to put them into somewhere else Or I can leave FotD unranked and go into other ranks. As well the other thing I might so is remove an rank from my blast.

However I am unsure if I'll need Ego Surge as I have an EU, but I kept it in there due to recombination, the other thing Im suggesting is to remove PB from Venomous Breath, but unsure.

As I kinder want both Rimfire & Pyre to be fully ranked or have some ranks

Edit 2: Alright so I made another build choice, with Rimfire rank 2 and my blast and AoE/DoT rank 2s, or I chuold keep my blast fully Ranked and just have Rimfire & Pyre Rank 2.

Conviction would probably be more useful than Empathic Healing. If you did that maybe MSA then as the EU (since you don't have End as a SS TR won't be that helpful, but you do have Int). Maybe drop pyre and add fire snake, which buffs elemental attacks, which are all your attacks. Maybe Force shield (w/ force sheath) for a bit more energy. It can be colored to give a fiery visual effect.

Humm, I've picked EH, due to I think Conviction stops healing when Im attacked, while EH I can keep spamming, so really unsure on that. As for the EU, the Thermal one seems to be working quite well and I'm unsure but I don't think I have that meny powers that require cooldown.

As for fire snake then Pyre, then sure if it buffs all my attacks, yes I'll be getting that for sure, as for the shield Im not even sure if I can do that as I'm low on Adv points as it is. But for more energy sure won't hurt.

But like wise, running out of Adv's fast, if I didn't have ES this won't be an issue, but if I can remove one rank from my heal maybe that might be more ideal

Alright, sorry to say people but I've bacily trashed this build idea now, seems very all 3 power forced then anything else. I'll still keep the passives and ideas in mind but this build idea is finished now, as I can't seem to make anything that really fits my needs.

However thank you all for your help and big thanks to Flow for the Bad Breath Day topic Link

Edit: I'll be posting an new topic soon with the newest build I'm working on
