    Other than the hair color and the fact that he's got both his hands, that's basically the design for Aquaman that Peter David used when he managed to revive interest in the character some time back ('90s, I think?).

    Maybe it's just that i/we have gotten used to the golden haired Aquaman. Rather than black one...

    But then again, the 1st picture is more black/white than a colored one. So his hair/beard could be golden.
    Now he just looks more of a ....villain...or Rob Zombie...

    I'm sure it will look better with color so I'm not worried. It's a pleasant start. I'm glad they went with this look, even if I like the clean-cut look better. I feel like this bearded look works better for the movies.

    I admit I make fun of Aquaman (based on the older models). He never looked very superhero-ish to me.

    I'm glad for the update, but but.. the seaweed hair? It's a bit too dark, edgy. Over the top a bit, trying too hard maybe?

    I do like the fan art versions, but then less airbrushy. Yeah, I'm difficult to please.

    What can he do if we drop him in the desert?
    I don't like Sigs, but I'll leave this here anyway. At least I'm not to trying to hypnotise you with moving things!

    So they're taking a Wolverine angle with Fish Man now?

    That's Ronon Dex/Khal Drogo, you silly, silly Finn. I personally think it's a great cast, but then as a Jason Momoa fan, I might be a bit biased.

    Technically, provided enough speed and momentum built up in the ocean, he theoretically could leap out across the water's surface in great lengths. But actually? Who knows. Maybe. Comics keep retconning stuff.

    Theres the super jump thing but he also has many artifacts that allow him to fly if he needs to but as far as I have seen in the comic he cant go from the ground to the air like Superman can.

    But Aquaman is a little bit of a Super Mario he has many "power ups" that let him pull of multiple feats. I hope they bring this into the movies :3

    Never really saw it as cheating. Getting assistance from sea creatures is what he's best known for after all.

    Also lol @ the smug look on the whale's face.

    well, they did have Wolverine beat Lobo. So...yeah. :p
