Unstoppable + STR/CON/REC build, Energy unlock needed?

I was wondering if I need an energy unlock at all, since the build is quite knock heavy, and considering Unstoppable's REC scaling energy gain, and the energy from enrage, (I plan on statting about 350 STR, 300 CON, and 80-100 REC) I was thinking with all these knocks I may not need MSA.

Could use advice.

Generally, no you won't need an EU. Statting some END will help though. The return from Unstoppable/Enrage is very spiky.

If thematic, could add Force Shield to further negate remaining energy issues.

You're probably not going to be able to spam haymaker, BCR and conviction all the time without using your EB now and then. If that means a EU is needed is fully subjective.

I would probably not take an EU for this build (what power would you drop for MSA?), but I would change uppercut to thunderclap.

You could probably swap BCR for Force Shield with Sheathe and still be perfectly fine. As well as put out more damage.

Probably, but I'm going for a balance of high damage and great survivability, so I'd like to be as tanky and self healy as I can be within my theme and build constraints.

for this particular build, I don't mind missing out on a little damage if it means BCR will help me survive that much more punishment.

I know I could just use invuln for that, but then I'd miss out on the energy return on knock, and also the extra knock resist, Unstop is also a thematic choice. (plus lets me use melee role)

I think dropping a non-boosted by Pre HoT + self damage reduction for a block enhancer that can provide extended resistance and even greater energy return due to Recovery scaling is a more than fair trade.

I'd pass on BCR, it's just not very good nowadays. For a secondary heal, consider Endorphin Rush on Enrage.

This energy scheme would probably rock on a Massacre tap build.

But I'd probably prefer Way of the Warrior and spend a slot on MSA and do STR/CON/INT. Cooldown is a very nice buff to DPS/defense.

P.S. In case anyone is wondering, Supernatural Power sucks on Massacre tap builds. Too much lag in energy procs.
