Please stay on topic in this PTS thread. We use bug reports from this thread to decide whether a PTS build is ready to go live, and so we need to make sure we're seeing everything in it. Please do discuss the changes, but if you find yourself writing about something that isn't specific to what's on PTS, then that should probably go elsewhere.
In particular, do not report bugs from the live game in this thread, unless they are impacted by changes in the PTS build.
The bike color scheme makes it look like its made of marble with bronze decors. But the pipes and other metal bits color doesn't really match any material.
And upwards sit position would look so much better, just like it would on the Krampus sledge.

I don't mind some more unique colour schemes, but steampunk is a very distinct style with its own distinct colours. Just search for steampunk on google and you see >90% of the results (not counting clothing) in bronze, leather and wood colours.
If at all possible on vehicles, the "brushed metal" material we have on some costumes could be used to make a very nice bronze look.
I like the dieselpunk scheme, and this vehicle looks just as dieselpunk as it does steampunk.
Yeah, this is dieselpunk. Which is really cool. I wonder how my art-deco robot would look riding one?

Honestly, we just had a new PTS thread roughly 4 days ago and it snagged 2 pages(and generated 2 of the things in this thread). Could we maybe, on a case per case version of course, cut back a touch on this and try to build up threads so information isn't lost as easily to the archives? Because, in all honesty, we just went from .3(Costume Set Repair/Addition and Monthly Costume Unlock) to .4(Vehicle, Player Request(Hurray), and Bug Fix(1 bug fix).
Also....vehicle ugly. As someone who very much likes Steampunk I can't help notice...
1. It's teal.
2. It would probably look better with brass piping and maybe use the grey for the panneling(or brown woodgrain and then use the grey for the body?
3. The back of the seat looks "odd."
4. A Steampunk bike would likely be over busy/detailed and therefore have a semi-ellaborate leg harness system...or a sit in cockpit.
5. GEARS. Where are the gears?
Just for some random idea tossing here....
Note: These are just style references(since I didn't make any of these myself) but...yeah...see what I'm saying here?
I agree on the pipes, need to be brass- yellow brown, or bronze- black brown in metallics.
in the colour chart that's,
column 3& 4, 8th one down counting from the top
for a lighter brass, 2nd from the bottom in column 4.
and the green colour is seafoam, teal is usually a darker blue green , if they added the swirl pattern to it, along with another pale green, you would have marble.
this one, the top is column 3, the bottom column 4
head is swirl pattern in seafoam, pale blue, yellow, white, and the red I forgot to remove.
I agree that this vehicle is a unique color scheme and should be kept. However, I also agree that this and the Millennium Spirit both need more options in other colors. Go ahead and make a more overtly steampunk style bronze. Likewise, I can easily see sci fi police variants working for them and the Millennium Spirit having a New Purple Gang variant since they're comic book mafia.
"Interesting builds are born from limitations not by letting players put everything into one build."
This. but more options are better, it wouldn't hurt to have alternate schemes.
Alternate steampunk style: brass pipes, wooden structure (rather than the riveted green steel of the dieselpunk design), and maybe not the '50s-style fins stretching out back.
The more designs, the better!

Millennium Spirit 905E (White) - Mark 2 3/2/2 slots, Micro Munitions Mark 2 - Looks like C-Store Variant
Millennium Spirit 909E (Champagne) - Mark 2 4/2/2 Slots, Singularity Bomb 2, Anti Aircraft Missiles 2 - has 10% bonus looks like Drifter Variant.
Nice additions to the range. I am enjoying the recent color variations as a nice change from black/red and green. My only suggestion would be to make the metalwork on the 909E more chrome and reflective which would fit the era and the coloring - give it a Great Gatsby feel.
Really digging the white one. Very appropriate for a classy retro style character...which I don't have one in mind yet, but still, quite shiny. It gives me something to think about with new characters, and thats always a plus.
I did really like the idea someone posted about having a purple gang variant. If we could get a purple 'lowrider variant' I'd love that. A black one with orange flames would also be cool.
Sidebar: The names suck. Lets not make them boring by using model numbers. Give them model names like the other vehicles have.
I vote 'Tux' for the white one, and 'Nugget' for the gold one.
Suggestion: Instead of champagne color, go with bronze/brass more steampunk look.
I really wish we could have a hovercar that used a character sitting stance. The motorcycle pose in a hovercar doesn't look good to me.
Alternately, a closed-off hovercar, with opaque windows, would be awesome.
I really like the champagne color. I love steam punk, and happily buy vehicles in that style, but I think this one should be lept as is. More color variants are of course welcome.

The catch to this is that model numbers fit in line with the idea of the hovercars being cars. Granted, names make it easier to tell them apart at a glance and there's nothing stopping the devs from doing both model numbers and a secondary name.

Can we make the white one the objectively better one? Please? It's the closest thing to a car I'll ever probably get, and I've been hoping for a white or pink vehicle of some sort to at least be able to say I -want- a vehicle.
Or, re-hook up the coloring tech that worked on vehicles back when they were first prototyped and limit it to gold players/C-store token purchases. That'd be cool too.

My thing is even car companies take care to distinquish models by name. Its not a high performance mustang custom, its a Shelby Cobra. Its not an extra shiny Dodge Charger, its a Challenger. I'm sure car buffs could give better examples.
Names also help for zone sales. Its a lot easier to say Adder, than 'the green extra shiny grav bike.

You mean like the Tesla Model S-P85D? (My current "if I won the lottery" car.) Or the Chrysler 300? Mazda 6? BMW Models 3 and 4?

Comments
a) new bike - nice. good to see a different color scheme.
Bison Model G 3 Weapon, 2 Def, 2 Sup. Mark 2 Bike with Micromunitions 2 - no 10% bonus so looks to be a cstore bike (but i may be wrong)
b) pattern for hat. Excellent!

Rather than change this one, add a new drifter one using an alternate colorscheme - copper and iron for example

Yes, I'd like to have my steampunnk bike with a bit more steampunk styling... I'd get it.

One of the sleighs is made of wood I think.

I know they won't but it would make things so much nicer.
It's clearly a dieselpunk styled bike...
The description is wrong, not the model.

I want this too. White would clash less with a lot more characters. The gold one is kind of specific.
huge old style radio.
major hood ornament
huge gattling guns from those side pipes which accidentally drop down if stuck in traffic too long
