Login Issues, morning of 1/8

Looks like we're having some login issues preventing people from logging in. We've locked the server while we debug the issue -- we'll keep everyone updated as we learn more.

    We're tentatively aiming for a new ETA of 11am PST.

    so this is what...twice in little over a week that CO has had a server issue causing an outage.....me thinks you need a new server.....or some pasta or something to preventing it from melting into slag every week.

    Yeah some things are broken... no I don't use/abuse them.. where would be the fun in that?

    Sounds like it's the login server and not CO per se?

    But it still sucks ... I have a lunch break up and wanted to get in a few alerts LOL

    STO just posted a 12 PM PST time. So probably will be the same here.

    Lifetime no longer gives a forum title. That should be updated on the Lifetime page that mentions what you get. PMing the CSR doesn't work neither.

    how about to make up for the repeated issues so quickly after each-other you mail every char in the game a single Lumerian scale, as a gesture of good will/too make up for time lost due to bug/to show you're nice

    In theory we should be earlier than STO. Unlike STO, we were able to get through the full restart and whiteglove, so STO is probably going to have to do more steps before they can open. 11am PST is the latest ETA I have for CO.

    I know what the issue is. It's me! Yup, sorry, but every time I buy Zen we have an issue with the server before I get the chance to spend it it seems. I apologise for ruining everyone's game time and will of course punish myself accordingly

    Well that explains why I could not login at all, I thought at first my Net has been bad. I had been having issuies with my net and pc yesterday. Thought it was happening again today but guess it was not me this time.

    The issue is fixed, we're whitegloving the server now to make sure it's good before we open. Should be pretty quick now.

    I don't like Sigs, but I'll leave this here anyway. At least I'm not to trying to hypnotise you with moving things!

    In the (nearly) two months since I decided to get a recurring gold subscription this kind of downtime has been far too frequent during "routine" maintenance.

    I don't know who is to blame, but that hardly matters. What matters is I am paying for a game I can't reliably play and that's a bad investment. Granted, we have flying trains and hockey sticks for weapons, but still...

    One should never have planned playtime same time or little after when the weekly maintenance/patching happens.
    That's one of the main rules of online gaming.

    Since they started a week beforehand, I assume those are unrelated issues.
