Constant "Connection Not Found" paired with intense lag - gets worse when zoning

Hello!

I've got a real problem with CO that cropped up out of nowhere within the past two days (I haven't changed or done anything), and I just don't know where else to turn.

When I load into the game, I almost immediately get a Server Not Responding message that can last anywhere between 10 and 120 seconds. Sometimes the game won't even load in properly, and crashes back out into the login screen.

When the game actually does load, it sometimes will not connect to the chat servers, saying "Chat is offline" for a little while.

The "Server Not Responding" messages continue to pop up roughly every 10 to 30 seconds, although they sometimes stop, although it is very rare.

When loading into a new area, the game's problems crop up all over again, rendering the game nearly unplayable; the lag is horrible, and makes actually moving anywhere completely impossible, because of the heavy rubberbanding.

When loading into a hideout, I get an error message claiming that "This is not your hideout!", before the game starts glitching up again, with lag and connection errors.

I've tried everything I can think of here; I updated the video card drivers (GeForce 9800 GTX+), I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game three times (I usually play it on Steam), and I even installed the game on Arc to try playing it there; I suffered the exact same issues.

I'm going to try rebooting the network, and I'm going to try playing the game on another computer tomorrow. Hopefully that will do something, but I'm not sure.

Anyway, thanks for reading, and here's hoping something can be done!

I'm having the same problem as well. When I did a search on google, seems they had this issue back in 2009. Seems to have to do with data not being sent correctly. Whenever they go to fix something on a patch, it messes up something else. Best thing to do is contact support, if you can.

It's been awful :( I don't know how to contact support. I went to their Support Center page, and wonder of wonders, their email address is bugged out and cannot be clicked or viewed.

    http://www.perfectworld.com/about/contact

See? It says MAILADDR_CONTACT, meaning whoever designed that page put in the email address incorrectly (I'm guessing), and because of that, nobody can contact them.

Just went and tried submitting a support ticket with Perfect World, and *THAT* is broken, too. It demands that I "Select an item under Game Support", but it doesn't offer me any item to choose. Therefore, I cannot submit anything.

'for future reference, the site ticket system has been borked a long time. a lot of people can't use it.
    email direct
    customerservice@perfectworld.com
    in the meantime;
at the login screen >options> turn off on demand patching.
    turn on> force verify.

the comment about hideout is an old bug, ignore it.

try fiddling with the various graphics settings in esc>options>graphics.

I have bloom/lights per object and a few other things turned down.
the rubberbanding comes and comes, some people get it worse than others.

I used to get it really bad it my old compute, even running on Low quality FX
also run tracert to see how everything is traveling. we 've had problems with some cogent stops.

heres the help thread from STO forums.

This seems to be happing, at random times for me, but its mostly My net.

however *rolls eyes* an friend has an issue where at the evenings, its "unplayable", lagging out, SNR and such.

everything else is fine but CO

Its an issue that needs fixing or altlest TT giving a damm, because this is not stressing them out but me too.

and too much stress for me, kills me
