They would have to reword the whole thing
BEFORE A CERTAIN SOMEONE COMES A LONG...
It's not impossible... they could totally do it... it would just be way too much work and would take forever.

If x or z is static despite you attempting to move in that direction, it then auto jumps, moving you in the y axis upwards.
That might not look right, and cold be replicated manually with existing travel powers.
Not sure how else you could do parkour without specifically rejiggering the entire environment model to recognise what a wall is in comparison with a stack of crates: right now, buildings are, as far as the game is programmed indistinguishable from the ordinary ground, just vertical, aka having a gradient of 100%.
