Dude, I have three guild members and two other people on my friends list who all did this as their first runs of it.
Congratulations, but if you have a decently survivable build and know how to block, you can solo this.
I haven't bothered myself, but I know I have a couple of alts in my stable I could do it on. I just don't want to bother.
Also, In before some guy comes in talking about how this content isn't difficult enough.
...with my night warrior/2gm/conviction spamming ff character....
<.< did I mention I'm still in Heroics because farming sucks?

My comp is a potato. Video would be.. horrifyingly bad @_@ Tried it once for a DMC let's play and never ended well.

My automaton got seriously slaughtered in the first hallway on that mission... on normal mode...

Lol... No but really I'm sorry if you were offended by that statement, it's true however. Anyone could solo it on their inventor if they have the right gear on. I was asking how hard he hits as in the number before resistances, I suppose I could go test myself but meh.
It's too easy.
BUT I wouldn't expect anything else due to the target audience and balance issues (and more) within the game which would be too hard to suddenly change.
Also FYI the inventor AT is pretty darn tanky when at 12k hp, I've beaten PvP builds before (UR ones that I can get away from or generally none that use ER) by turning them into teddy's of course but I still beat them. I'm not saying that in a way that's "I'm better than you" I'm just saying that the AT is actually rather strong, I'm pretty sure if you made an inventor to have 12-15k hp too you'd find it to be pretty strong as well. My brother once went on my inventor and was like "WTF why is it so tanky" when he took it into BASH. My comment about the fact I could solo it on the inventor AT was certainly not me trying to claim I am better than anyone else.

10k+ HP and self heal and you can do it. The Void AT did it, the Inventor can do it as well.
He's a solitary foe, so when he knocks you all the way to the ceiling, chances are you and your pets will be too far away from the robot arms to be attacked. Which means, healing drones will be left alone.
More threatening would be being ganked by tough trash mobs on your way to Mechanon. This one thing I'm not sure the Inventor can pass easily.
There is no elitism in Champions Online. What's there to be elitist about?
My super cool CC build and how to use it.
The real challenge is damaging HIM. Even when I ran it on normal to learn the encounter, he doesn't take a lit of damage from tank role characters.. Usually only hit about 2Kish haymakers and 700 defensive combo hits.. crits came, but I only geared for chance to make adrenaline rush heal me.. soo they weren't that epic. Seriously, it took a good 10 minutes to take him down.. BUT IT WAS EPIC! \o/

i only goes this mission one time with a party, but i think i will try solo with my Glacier, don't know if i will do it, because, i dont have much DPS, but have a lot of Defense, HP and some heals...i think will be interesting XD
I don't think it will be interesting at all, in fact I think it's rather predictable that you should find it relatively easy if you are in gear that's worth over 100g... As I've said before a bunch of times, Glacier has an easier time than most other people in most things. It's DPS technically is lacking compared to other AT's but if you have it built right it can be higher than average FF builds people use unless they have their FF built smart.
I'll wish you good luck anyway though.

What, suddenly surprised?
Considering how debalanced is CO system, how often it forces you to sacrifice theme for maximum efficiency, it's nothing strange to build suboptimal just to "be a hero you want to be" and not "a FoTM build which erforms the best ATM".
And it's only CO's fault, not the player's one.
This thing killed PvP after all, because not everyone is willing to sacrifice everything for competitive FoTM build.
Good Job, It is a tough fight. I was proud of myself when I did it too.
