When Giant Crabs Attack!

My niece, and the rest of her family, are heading to Baltimore Maryland this week. She is thrilled because she is going to eat her first crab.

I sent her this pic -

She sent back - ROTFLMAO.

I didn't think it was that funny, but hey.

So would you guys like it if Mill City was attacked by a Giant Crab?

If not a giant crab, what other giant creatures would be fun for our heroes to defend the city from?

I was once put in the position of running a Champs game on near-zero notice - the regular GM fell ill, and there we all were...

The team was attacked by a forty-foot-long crayfish. After the battle, there was etouffee for a week.

There was so much talk way back in the day about Millennium City being attacked by a giant lobster, and somehow TRON got involved somewhere in there, and it ended up as LOBSTRON. I still want this to happen. :biggrin:

Crabs are delicious. Especially with a chili or peppered type sauce.

I know that in the US, crabs get cracked opened by using a hammer? A delicious seafood crustacean meal + stress relief. Sounds great.

Where I live we crack open the shells by using a boring nutcracker-like tool. Booo.

I got that crab + hammer bit from watching A Few Good Men...

I am surprised that talk of giant enemy crabs are talked about and no one is talking about historical accuracy or that you have to flip it on its back to hit its weak spot for massive damage.

we used to go crabbing a lot. just boiled them,no sauce.
Never hit them with anything to open them
we did have one accidental catch due to beach cricket, ball went flying and landed on a crab.
Bonus 1 run plus an extra crab.

ours we caught usually while swimming, so I found out you can climb a metal ladder that starts a foot above the water with flippers on. Panic induced levitation.
all you need to do is have a shark bigger than you swim alongside.

It turned out to be a 'freindly' one but I wasn't taking any chances.
