So, I don't know why you can't skip cutscenes, I wish you could.
But sometimes when I tab out, the mouse cursor just won't move. This is a horrible way to troll your players. I don't want to see the same cutscene I've seen a million times, rather put on a song or write an email or respond to an IM. Which, is often impossible as cutscenes grab unto your cursor.

Doesn't always happen, but when it does its just pure frustration.
