Haymaker and Roomsweeper powers require fixing. Their knock range is way too high and that makes characters win duels easily by increasing their strength and knocking the opponent out of the duel area.
Example 1:
You are already able to knock 128 feet with 78 strength.
Example 2:
453 feet with 529 strength.
This means if the character able to acquire 700 strength which is possible withAura of Primal Majesty,they can easily knock 600+ feet.
I doubt that anyone will actually get knocked out that far in practice. Being knocked that far is about the equivalent to four Mayor Bizelle speech squares. If you were fighting in the RenCen nearby the powerhouse stairs, you might be able to use your knock to get a person on top of the tailor awnings.
I like knocking things back a whole lot. In the event anyone decides to run with this suggestion though, remember if knockback is dropped on a power, the damage has to come up to compensate for it.

Yes. Best way to "fix" this is to go and mess with the Powers.
They should also fix the 'But, but he did not do anything and he won!!!' victory. You know, when someone challenges you to a duel and you just stand there and the challangee waits for half and hour and then leaves and then you get the text *You have won! The other dude left*

I think you never dueled anybody and leaving the duel area BEFORE the duel starts does not count as win, you must deal damage to make it count.
Also, Annihilate does not knock as far as Haymaker or Roomsweeper does. You really want to tell me that you knock farther with a fist rather than a sword?

Ofcourse you knock farther with a fist than a sword. Sword cuts, fist is a blunt object. It's simple physics. In a superhero videogame.
You can try that at home also. Take a long bladed knife, cardboard box, measuring tape. Make a sweeping move with a knife to upwards targeting the cardboard box. Then do the same with your fist. Measure the distance that cardboard box has moved with each strike, make notes, compare.

Single stating can be rewarding actually, like +30% damage per stack of concentration. don't knock it till you try it. also single stacking a secondarycan be rewarding as well.

I love using my knocks on Brick - it's really plausible that a giant stone guy could punch a random mook a couple dozen yards in on shot.

Not speaking from a PvP perspective but they're so troublesome to work around. Way too easy to knock something out of range for you to lunge to it or worse, knock it till it gets stuck in geodata like a crate or truck that mysteriously LOSes the mob and no one in the party has a 360 AoE to hit it.
Of course it would be pretty cool to have wall bouncing or bonus wall damage with knocks, or even destructible walls :O~
Knocks are one of the few things CO has going for it. Nerf those, you're stabbing the game directly in its left butt cheek.
Hey OP, get over yourself. You lost a duel to someone who entirely bases their build around ringouts. Join BASH and laugh at them as they can't do anything to anyone in real pvp.
They just need to make some kind of special pursuit ability to chain after a knock so that you can chase the target being knocked into the air while spamming Viper's Fangs and some announcer in the background yells "MARVELOUS!"

The way it calculates knock resistance is broken. Nobody knows how this formula works at all, or if it can even be tested properly.
