So stances .... we really don't have many stances now do we?

Let me be clear, what we have is nice .... but by god does it stop there ... we only have a few for males and even less for females.

I just think personaly there are more stances you can make for this game to give it more ... diversity.
I know its a pain and all to animate but all things concidered it would give people some new stuff to work with.

Hell some are already in the game, take the black talon stance! A lot of people want that, or just a hovering stance!
Even the avarage stance you can switch to in the costume creator has some appeal.

Basicly I am just asking for a wee bit of love for a rather neglegted part of the costume creator =3

What do you guys think? Do you know another stance that should be in the game? Lets hear it =3

    Eons ago there was an extra stance available on the PTS tailor; a neutral/floating position, kind of like the start-up to the original Flight TP. It let your character walk and hover a few feet off the ground, very mystic-looking if my memory's serving me right.

    It was weird and did weird things when you jumped.

    So, yeah, I understand why that never passed into the main game.

    Ya know, I'd actually like a casual stance that didn't involve swinging your head side to side staring at the clouds.
    It drives me so crazy I've never once used it for a character, even one in casual attire.

    There's actually a ton of stances in this game. Feels like every step of every combo has a different one. It's quite amazing how much attention to detail the devs put into the base game, although the feeling I get is they kinda blew the budget there and the post-launch suffered.

    Anyway, some of those weapon stances would be cool if they could be selectable.

    yeah the poses/stances ur character makes while charging or right after using some spells are pretty wide and diverse (well, more for melee). I think my fave is EBA's or EBB's w/ single blade.

    The floating stance on the doomlord isn't too bad. you jump and it looks like you're hovering. I could go for that one for my more mystical toons.

    I like this more tense stance on female toons when you are using superspeed/acro and then you stop running for a moment. I'd love to use it instead of regular female heroic stance. It's looks more active.

    I'd definitely support having more stances added to game, outside of combat that is...

    My issue with some 'power' stances we already have is that the ones like...Acrobatics or Superspeed, put you in a super active pose or a weird pose.

    I'd like it if you could choose a stance in tailor and stick with it unless you were moving, using an emote, using a power, blocking etc.

    But with regards to the OP, yes, I'd like to see more stances in game accessible to players.

    Go read the book on the table in ren cen. There are like 5 different stances there that they could unlock

    Talking of stances , I wish some passives had the options of extra tog'able stances for certain power trees. Like Heavy weapon users holding the weapon like this guy, I would fling my wallet at the screen for that pose :3

    I'd totally enjoy seeing more stances added to the game.

    Sadly if they do add them, it's more likely they'll add them to an unlock in the Z-store or bundle them up and put it in a lock box requiring a ludicrous amount of money for a substantive chance at them.

    Something wrong with them trying to monetize their work? I'd rather see it on the zen store than not at all, right?

    If the Z-Store sells a stances emote pack, I'll buy it.

    If they put emotes in a lockbox, I'm not buying. :P

    Yes, yes, and yes. Z-store it, don't lockbox it, and make another emote pack while you're at it. That arms folded emote would be nice for starters.

    Ah yes the Stances, the game already have some really nice poses which are being used... for interecting with Lore Items

    Those need to made available in Tailor immediately

    1st Pose look Carefree
    2nd pose, with the hands on waist, would be very familiar for CoX players! qUITE Powerful
    3nd pose for your Ankward/Adorkable Teenagers (◡‿◡)
    4th pose is simply FABULOUS~! it reminds me of the Comedian Pose from another Super Hero MMO which name shall not be written :cool:

    The 1st one is good, the other could use some Work! It's really Sneaky/On Guard
    2nd one, it could be Badass Arm Fold with some chance of animation (just combine it with the Hands on waist post but keep the hands Folded)
    Since right now Goreld and Buzmun are looking at their Crotches xD


    Having those Stances JUST for interactive with Lore items is just A BIG WASTE OF ANIMATION! Add them in TAILOR for Pete's sake!!     :mad:

    I wish we could have the Weapon poses available all the time as well!
    I would love to have my weapons (blade, dual blade, heavy, laser sword, guns, heavy guns) out all the time even outside the battle (maybe an Aura can do that...)
    POWERFRAME REVAMPS, NEW POWERS and BUG FIXES > Recycled Content and Events and even costumes at this point Introvert guy who use CO to make his characters playable and get experimental with Viable FF Theme builds! Running out of Unique FF builds due to the lack of updates and synergies! Playing since 1 February 2011 128 + Characters (21 ATs, 107 FFs) ALTitis for Life!
