So we where all super happy when the heros of millennium city got their own home and got up out of the streets, however I think I speak for alot of people is saying we need more. Now we see new content being released in the Z store on an almost daily basis in both new costumes, auras, vehicles, and a few more. However the one catagorie that has not changes for some time now is the Hideouts section. I am sure a hideout take far more work and is farm more resource intensive but it would add yet more depth and entertainment to the game itself.

I had a few ideas for new hideouts as well as a few ideas to spice a couple of the current ones up just a tad, they will all be in the list bellow.

New Ideas:

- West Side Apartment: An old, small and rather run down apartment in the middle of a typical West Side neighbor hood for the not so famous and not so fortunate peoples of west side, or for those who just want to keep a low profile is the big world of being a Hero. This apartment would consist of a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and a living/recreational room. each room would be a bit smaller in comparison to the other hideouts like the Pent Houses. Decoration options include things like dirty or torn rugs, broken windows, tilted pictures, a dirty living room an old TV and so on, The tailor wouldn't be much of anything fancy, perhaps a wardrobe or closet with a few guns/swords and other small bits of gear stuffed in the corner next to a few racks of cloths. To make sure the players have more customization value in their home having 1-2 dirty options for a set object and 1-2 clean options now numbers may verie between decoration the you get the point.

- Residential Home single story: This home is a model of a typical modern single story house in any typical middle class neighbor hood for those people who are just a regular citizen behind their vigilante mask. Sporting an assortment or normal rooms like bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living/recreational room and for any family starters out there, a guest/kids room. Using decorative options like house plants, modern furniture, a flat screen or two, a nice fireplace electronic or wood and even a small fish bowl for the kids gold fish Nemo.

These two idea are more or less simple and certainly lack the flourish of a Hero's life but that's rather the point. Although Champions online is based around the idea that everyone is a flamboyant and rich Hero in Millennium city not every one plays it that way. I meet plenty of civilian type character and a few homeless mutants or creatures now and again, I think having some less flashy housing for those kind of people would be very cool. Now onto my ideas to spice things up abit more for a few of the current Hideouts.

Changes To Existing Hideouts:

- Luxury/lofty Pent House: There are a few features that the Pent houses are missing:

#1. Office: as it stands now its a desolate wasteland of open and boring floor, ceiling and walls. For decoration options it would be nice to have some form of chair set up in front of the office desk, something like an interview area or council meeting. Along the walls adding more props like paintings would break up the huge flat color face.

#2. Living Room: As a room divider some measure of TV screen would be nice, not a very big idea but hey its the little things in life the make the world go round.

#3. Luxury Pent House Balcony: Allow us to change those god awful teal chairs, I'm not going to go into detail because any one that reads this should know hat I am talking about...if not ask me in the comments.

- Moon Base (all of them): Those of you that put money into the moon base may have been sorely disappointed by the actual interior size of the base, here are my ideas:

#1. The additional Domes: Opening those two other domes up would be very appreciated. As is if you look into them they have decorations in the rooms already however yo cant actually get in there (easily at least).

#2. Additional Dome interiors: For the left dome some manner of living area, such as a bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. For the right dome I think what it is now is just fine, the weight training and exercise area for keeping the occupants of the base spry even in zero-g.

These are my ideas for Hideouts 2.0, I appreciate you reading through them and I would love some feed back from both players and Dev members. Again, thank you and have a good day.

One could mention that the cave hideout also shows 2 secondary areas in the map (plus 2 doors), similar to the moon base... opening these areas (with maybe a few independant customization for each) would add a lot to the existing hideouts.

From what I understand the two side room, which all hideouts have, were originally intended for a crafting room and a sparring room. However after having made them it was decided that crafting was going to be majorly changed, to the current crafting we have now, making a crafting room pointless. So they just locked the doors and called it a day, though we all know the rooms are there and would be happy with them just being extra space to hang out in.

And our Hideout Guy got beamed up in to the space, the final frontier.
