So I tried mixing some of the UA attacks with celestial to create some sort of monk build

All but one of the UA attacks do some dimensional damage which is boosted by Seraphim

Build path isn't optimal, i just cherry picked abilities to go in

I've actually been working on a similar build so I'll post it here and maybe we'll both get some help! This is a new character I'm planning so this build should work for leveling. I have no actual experience using the celestial set so this whole thing is theoretical. Any advice would be appreciated!

Add Spirit Reverb and a means to Fear (Void Shift w/ adv works best for melee; Ego Sleep w/ adv or Shadow Blast for ranged), and ya have a fitting EU for the original build for just keeping Fear rolling while you do ur normal attacks- since most of the UA attacks have a dimensional component. The build would be better dps w/ Dex PSS instead of Pres, but if ya wanted to mix in more support then Pres is fine.

The build also lacks a fitting toggle form. FotTempest would be the best overall fit, and allow DU to grant Rush. FotT is a bit more random since its crit-reliant (gear heavy Dex/crit). Seraphim can auto-stack Compassion in combat if you want to go a more Support/healer route (heavier Pres gearing, then). Unfortunately, Vengeance and Rebuke's advs don't properly proc Manipulator (bleh.. if they did ya could go down a CC-route for the build w/ either Pres or Int PSS).

Ya could also replace Res Serum w/ Redemption and its AoE res adv. Also def rank up Conviction (either to rank3, or rank2 + reverence for a small splash heal). If ur going to keep Arbiter spec for Honor, I'd prob pick up Rend (can drop points in Enforcer for it, since ya dun have a combo).

Lastly, I'd prob rank up Vengeance over Palm Strike- the latter is better as an AoE KB, but Vengeance won't be as disruptive to positioning. Conduit w/ Illumination debuff can also work for AoE, but the chaining can be a bit unreliable, and you def want the AoE adv on Illumination over rank3. An alternative route for AoE is picking up Energy Wave w/ Rev Polarity in PA- even if its out-of-theme, it can pull mobs in for 100Hands.

Ironcore's build seems pretty good. I wouldn't bother w/ Illumination w/o Celestial Conduit- its too small a buff/debuff otherwise. And ya may want a diff block than Fluidity.

FotT's Gifts of the Storm doesn't scale up very well, last I checked, and procs not very frequently- not worth the whopping 3 adv points, imo.

Thanks for the tips! I'll probably replace illumination with imbue then. Do you have a suggestion for a better block?

Any block is more reliable than Fluidity (even the basic one), imo, since Fluidity loses the guaranteed damage resist (200-400%) you normally get from blocking, trading for some flat dodge/avoid (Fluidity could be okay for high-dodge builds, but its not practical otherwise).

Ya can pretty much pick any other block power ya want (including none) if you like the looks of it. For melee builds, Parry and Energy Shield stand out for Elusive Monk and Laser Knight, Ebon Void's VD adv is great if you have to continually block, Force Shield's adv allows ya to get some extra energy from tapping it, TK Shield has a small lingering effect for its adv, Retaliation/Guard give ya a dmg buff for blocking, etc. Each block tends to have its own advantages, but most do the same basic function.

Not sure having all 3 of these is really necessary:

Level 23: Burning Chi Fist (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 26: Dragon Uppercut (Rank 2, Chi Flame)
Level 29: Open Palm Strike (Rank 2, Focused Chi Blast)

Maybe choose one and then take Masterful Dodge and an Active Offense of some sort.

Intensity is a active offense and all three benefit from Seraphim and proc Form of the Tiger

Still concerned about energy management w/o a fitting energy unlock for that build.

Energy wouldn't be as bad w/o using 100Hands heavily, though. Its a very good dps spell, but ya can still get nice enough results w/ DU charges (for Rush) and BCF (or using R3 TK w/ Brawler Setup to combo into DU or BCF). That could also free a power slot for something like MD or Ascension.

Palm Strike could be okay for AoE, but its kinda disruptive. Were ya planning on using Illumination + Conduit taps for AoE/cleaves, or just healing? Conduit won't proc FotTiger (since its ranged).

100 hands is for leveling atm, i have a full retcon available to remove it later

Palm Strike is the hardest to remove as its the UA power that benefits the most from Seraphim and would serve as a nice alpha strike on bosses

Ya can keep Palm Strike if ya want- it has some uses. Just wanted to see if ya could cut down on the amount of attack powers ya have for more utility or defenses.

I was thinking about swapping Seraphim for AoED
Could then swap out OPS for something else
