on low quality graphics fx setting, I only get the flag, not the stars.
I have an old slow computer adn running it on high quality fx with all the flashses, and auras mean slllllllllooooooooowwwwwwwww

Got it. I began my "Heroic Career" on CO with a computer that could only play the game in the "Fog-of-War Gray Mode" so, as Bill Clinton used to say, "I feel your pain."
How does your system handle Blood Moon or the Winter Event? I could never go any where near any of those big battles, let alone actually try and join in on a take down of Clarence. Rubber-banding does not even begin to explain my systems reaction to being in one of those battles. The one time I tried, it began as kind of a camera-like snap-shots, before a loooooooooooooooooooooong screen freeze, and finally my PC said, "Nope!" and crashed the game completely.
This last WE was a whole-nother story. I couldn't get enough of Battling Clarence. Even at the end of the very end of the event, when everyone had already moved on to other things, I was still trying to take him down, alone if need be. I couldn't, but I sure tried. :biggrin:
clarence isn't usually a problem unless theres a load of vehicles, auras, lightning, fire, ice etc. the more shiny bits. the more it objects.

Fortunately, my roommate decided he needed a whole new computer to play EvE, not just a new graphics card, and gave me his old desktop. The card in here handles CO (and STO!) graphics just fine.
