Too many attempts; please try again later.

Is there an issue with the Cryptic studios authentication server today? When I try to log in to Champions using the launcher, I am greeted with the message:
"Too many attempts; please try again later."
If I try to log in to the address provided to manage my account, (https://secure.crypticstudios.com/champions/subscriptions/edit?sub_type=S-CO) I am greeted with the message telling me I am entering the wrong username and password. (Before anyone states the obvious, I verified that I was using my correct username/password combination...twice.)

However, as is evidenced by this post, I do not have any issues logging into the forums or the Champions Online page hosted on ArcGames.com.

Well, it looks as of this morning the issue has resolved itself. I am able to log in again to the Cryptic servers. However, it would be nice to know what the issue was...anyone know?

I am currently having this same problem on my home computer. Attempts to log in on another computer at a different location have been successful, but when I try to log in here I get a message that says "Too many attempts; please try again later." This was right after my first attempt to log in for the day at this location...furthermore it does not seem to matter what I enter as a username and I don't need to even enter a password. When I hit Play it displays this message.

It is a frustratingly cryptic message, as I don't even know what's been attempted or how long I should wait until later.

I assume it means they're saying I tried to log in too many times, but I certainly did not...it just appeared out of nowhere.

I tried the next day and it worked.

The problem comes from different certificates for different regions. PWE kinda spoiled things with making everything https and logins by regions, like EU for an example.

I'm sometimes also hit with this login problem... But only on forums. I can log in just fine to the Polish account page (I did not know that it exists, lol) but since it exists only for Neverwinter, I can't go to the CO forums. An it redirects me to the Polish NW forum instead of the proper English one.

And when I change language to the English to go to the CO boards, bam - it logs me out and login problem is back.

The whole PWE website is clunky and held only by tissue paper.

My biggest question is, why there's an enforced redirect by the country and the language when in the end it all falls under EU region for billings? Dumb idea. Especially when not every PWE game is available in every language.

Besides, I feel filthy and violated having to use NW website for anything, lol.
