Hi,
Some of your helped me with great ideas for my martial artist/wind dps, so I decided to post my build for my Tank, Ser Dontos, lvl 20. Again, any suggestions to improove his awesomeness are welcome.
He uses Armadillo Questionite Gear and I focus his talents on DEX to give some basic crit while leveling to synergise with Adrenaline Rush. I think I learned a lot with the other thread suggestions about my Martial Artist. But, please, correct me if I forgot something.

However, for tanks using Strength-based toggles, like Enrage, it actually may be better to take Str PSS and leave Con as a 2ndary. That's because heavy Str gearing already gives you much knock resist, and Str PSS just has many more versatile benefits: added crit severity, Swole for extra health, melee cost discount, and ofc Juggernaut for lotsa bonus defense from Con.
You could also consider swapping Regen for Defiance to get some more from endorphin rush, and also cause that will fill ur energy needs w/o needing much/any energy stats (unlike other passives, don't rank defiance up, though). Only major drawback w/ that is you need more maintenance heals to keep healthy, but ya already got conviction and 2 ADs plus ER on Enrage- that should be enough.
(edit: called a passive a 'toggle', oops)

I wholeheartedly agree with the STR/Con/Rec switch. STR spec tree is amazing for tanks since it capitalizes on Con Secondary across the board. Even more since you have The Best Defense from Warden. I would even go further and drop Protector for Vindicator for Aggressive Stance. This will completely jolt your Defense, and in turn, Offense.
I like both Passives, Defiance and Regeneration, so I would say use whatever. While leveling I think Regen is a lot better, but at 40, I think Defiance has an edge because you can stack a ton of Defense...and you don't have to rank it up.
I also think Cleave is best at R3 with Challenging Strikes. It keeps Enrage up and will keep CS up along with being a really good attack both as aoe and single target.
I always thought Annhiliate's animation was a bit clunky, so if I use it, I usually go for the throat at R3 for the coupe de grace. I like Devour Essence for Crippling Challenge, and at R2, especially if you are sticking with Regen.
P.S. I also really like Vicious Descent...I would at least take the knockdown advantage on it

I have leveled tanks with Hybrid/Bulwark, Tank/Protector, Tank/Vindicator, and even Hybrid/Vindicator. Really, the main thing I have noticed throughout all of these builds, is, if you want agro, you are probably going to get it. Just keep up your taunts, Crippling Challenge and Challenging Strikes and you will hold agro for most of the fights. The times you lose agro to a super-dpser, he or she will likely have ways to deal with it.

Yeah that's a good way of putting it. Protector's main effects are Bulwark and the AD cd reduction- so it def is the more defensive of the 2 options. Vindicator is about crits and some extra defense, making it more all-rounded but still somewhat dps-focused.
Holding aggro in this game is more or less about who picked the most powerful dps moves to 'tank' with. Annihilate taps are still pretty good dps/threat vs. bosses, and brimstone is a strong AoE, so you shouldn't have too much an issue on that front, imo. But yeah there will almost always be players/builds w/ more potent attacks than yours (and/or w/ better gear)- that's just how it goes. Better to make a fun yet functional build than worrying about about optimizing threat or w/e all the time.
