"unable to authenticate"

I was in game and wanted to change character, I can't go to this page *frown* so I quit the game, I restart my computer just in case. And suddenly I'm stuck at the game window with a "unable to authenticate" message.

Am I alone with this bug ? :frown:

    Doing the same to me once I tried to change characters, any update on how to solve this issue? I restarted comp, shut down and exited ARC, and even tried going in without ARC... nada...

    it's not just CO, it's also STO and NW as well.

    *Putting in my Password, Enter* Unable to Authenticate... wtf Cryptic, you be killing your own.

    I take this quote from a review that I agree with.

    "customisation is so linear; everyone is after the optimal dps:survivability ratio with 0 reliance on other players = autonomous gameplay... Players don't need each other anymore... which in my opinion is a bad thing."

    I even went and changed my password just incase it was compromised, it wasn't so I am glad I am not the only person experiencing this.

    this is happening to me now, after 7 or 8 attempts to get the launcher to log in I'm now stuck with a "Patch" button.

    Oh..wait, I have "Play" now, but clicking results in "Unable to connect to account server (3)"

    I've been getting SNRs the past couple of days too, mostly when switching maps but sometimes for no obvious reason.

    Edit: Game client finally launched but stuck at "Connecting to account server..."

    Edit 2: "Connection to login server timed out"
