This game is awesome

it has updates every week and every month. Only thing missing is some new story content and missions and it would be great.

I give it a solid 7.5/10.

If a lot of existing issues are slowly addressed in the coming months expect a Renaissance for this game. :cool:

    Once u play through it and the update happen really...really barely ever a good one for starting this game is a 7.5 i agree but i played for a long time and its a 4.5/10 now for me a.k.a below average amd ok playable

    Ah, Fresh meat~

    I suppose CO does have its ups and downs. Also, you didn't mention the massive array of customization this game has. However, you are still pretty new. Spend some more time in CO and see if you still think the same. :)

    Well, chaos, I've been playing CO for a couple of years now, and I still think it's pretty doggone awesome, so there you go.

    I still think the same way too. However, pessimism is a bit contagious. I've seen more rants/complaints than praises over thd years. I guess you could say the negativity has rubbed on me. :P

    To the OP, sorry if I was too negative. Just roam around in CO and have fun. Remember that there are other places besides MC. I recommend going to Vibora Bay. That place is epic!

    Well I love Champions Online. I could go all day about what I would like the game to have but that is irrelevant.

    The fact is that I have played this game more than any single game in my 25years of gaming. So I have to give it a 10/10...anything less would be a lie because if I said 2/10, then I would be a fool to be on this game as much as I am.

    The game has a solid 10/10 for character customization. But most is hidden behind a pay wall.

    The game also has a solid 1/10 for game content updates. But there's a lot to do for a first time.

    That still makes the average 5/10, which is a failing grade.

    Would recommend to newer players. Would not recommend for a long term investment.

    still happily playing after 3years.

    Tried a Few other games, adn basically managed to play... a few hours... a couple of hours... 1 hour....uninstall.

    DCUO, is now at the half hour stage.
    CO I can still happily play all day on the weekend. DAMN you, full time work

    Over the course of my CO adventures, I've played no less than 30 other MMOs. I'm still here. As are all of the people who are saying that the game is bad. Call it the community, call it repetition, call it co-dependence, the end result is the same. I'm pretty sure this game is gonna last forever because a ton of us wish it to be so. And a few people just can't bare to leave, even though they hate it, which says some things too.

    OP, I'm with you. Been here since closed beta, with a few breaks here and there. The game's still as fun as it was that first day. Is it perfect? No. Does it get all of the content I want it to? Nope. Am I still bringing friends in and having a blast playing with them? You bet I am.

    well, if you are new, its good you are having fun the content will be new for you , nd i especially recommend aftershock, thats a good build up and pay off, and lemuria looks beautiful. just take your time because we really don't get new story and mission content.

    Yea. Though I prob wouldn't grade content updates that low, esp since we have a tiny dev team now. Maybe a 2-3/10 if you compare to what a normal larger team could do, 4-5/10 considering its current size.

    (avg of 10 and 1 is 5.5 btw :X)

    CO is a good game. It has its weaknesses, but its strengths make up for a lot. I can make exactly the character I want to play here, but new playable content comes in at barely a trickle. Some might ask who cares about being able to create exactly the character you want to play if there isnt much new to do with him. I guess my reaction might be to ask what is the point of a continuous stream of new content, which some other games might see, if I cant create a character I want to play in it ?

    It certainly is enjoyable and the costume creator is unrivaled as is the free form concept. It's just a sheer disappointment that it's treated like a red-headed step-child by Cryptic.
