"Science teaches us to expect -- demand -- more than just eerie mysteries. What use is a puzzle that can't be solved? Patience is fine, but I'm not going to stop asking the universe to make sense!"
"Death of..." arcs have become predictable. A licensable money machine like Wolverine will never stay dead of course. They'll spend a year (always a year!) exploring other characters' reactions before bringing him back by way of some MacGuffin and returning to the status quo. I kind of feel like these stunt arcs just insult our collective intelligence.

I'm just curious how the hell they'll do it. They've already made a point of proving that he can't die.
Currently Wolverine is missing his healing factor. But he has been like that before also.. June storyarc '3 Months To Die' starts throwing ****s to the fan.... After that the Death storyarc hits.

Name a Superhero that has never died and later returned from the dead?
The first two Blue Beetles. (I can't recall if Ted Kord got to come back permanently, or if that was just part of Booster's time travel hijinks.)

From what I understand X-23 is going to be the new Wolverine, and since X-23 is just a clone of Logan anyways, with his personality to boot, and pretty much fills in the lesbian quota for marvel, and still has the hots for Jean Grey, he's not going anywhere, even though he won't have the same look.
Didn't you guys know, every superhero has one common power, RESPAWN, just like we all do in CO. I wish to god he could die for ever, as his healing factor is ridiculous. I remember the time his flesh was blasted off until all that remained was his skeleton. Yet somehow he could still talk with no vocal chords, see because somehow is eyes survived and think ditto for brain. He could even move the skeleton without muscles or ligaments.

Bill Foster, the Goliath, felled by Thor's lightning in Civil War.
Died due to shock value and a dramatic turning point, but not famous enough to bring back.
I was just getting into comics around the Death of Superman and the Breaking of the Bat.
I actually followed the Rebirth of Captain America series to see how they'd do it (it sucked).
The worst part of these deaths is not that it's a gimmick. It's the crap way they're brought back.

And because real Thor didn't kill him, but a mock up created by Tony Stark. If it were real Thor, he would have asked Odin to bring Goliath back, or went to Hel and rage war against Hela just for the smite

And that's only because I find it mildly amusing.
So, now Wolverine will be even more banal?
