my latest project basically a Space Marine/Soldier of the Future hi-tech Soldier/Pet Master. The particle Mine is treated by the system as a pet and therefore should gain some benefit from the Commander Tree and its damage is flagged as ranged per the tool tip so should receive some benefit from Overseer Aura...

I like the build, and leveled a toon very similar awhile back.

    Suggestions:

    1. Concentration > IDF. You don't have enough pets to justify it...which leads me to...

    2. Commander Tree. You lose SO much offensive capabilities not taking Guardian/Vindicator that it severely limits your toon. Unless you take A LOT of pets, I really wouldn't bother with it.

    3. Since you don't need to rank Concentration, I would put those 2 ranks into Implosion Engine and watch the world die.

    4. I would find a spot for 1 active offense and defense, probably replacing Particle Mine and Support Drones, but that's just my personal preference.

All in all, pretty solid build though.

Remember: Half the people you know are below average...

Do not correct a fool, for he will hate you for it. Correct a wise man, for he will appreciate you for it.

Don't be like the Qularr. They would not last one round in the Interstellar Galactic Arena...

here's a MK II build....I've tested it so far this one is highly functional even without gear....but when I can get some cooldown reduction its going to be even better...thinking of swapping Field Surge for either Lock and Load or Ego Surge....

Instead of Orbital Canon you might want to take a look at Strafing Run. More alpha damage and it recovers faster. I have a toon with both and they make a nice combo AOE.

What a great concept.. nothing to add.. Other than I really wish this type of character would be added to the game as an AT.

Orbital Cannon is more thematic than anything. I use Strafing Run on my more modern tech soldier concepts as a calling in an "Air Strike" which is what Orbital Cannon is for the High Tech/Future Tech Soldier equivalent.

and cry, I'll get back to you on it.
