Well how about this astounding idea! FIX THE BLINKING TARGETING!
Seriously multiple times ima standing in front of a Super Zombeh and I end up targeting the Purple gang guy who is back and to the left of me ....back and to the left ._.

C.N you may think your The peoples Bugfixing Princess but untill you fix the targeting your just fiddling with cabbages.

They all thought I was out of the game....But I'm holding all the lockboxes now..
I'll......FOAM FINGER YOUR BACK!
I like to live dangerously and set up my controls so that I autotarget the "closest" mob even if I don't have anything targeted when I attack... Yeah, I sometime end up dragging over a new mob in alerts with that.
Usually, if I twist the camera to block out certain mobs from the screen, I'll actually target what I wanted to the first time. Tab targeting has been an issue since day one and it'd be nice if it was actually improved.
I've never had a problem with targeting, dunno what set ups you guys are using, but you might wanna change em because it definitely matters depending on if you're a healer or a dps.
I just use auto-targeting... closest to center of crosshair.
When I want to hard-select it I just hit Tab once. If I don't get the target I want (ussually because I twitched before hitting tab and moved my crosshair), I cleartarget and try again.
Cycling through targets with Tab is sooooooooooooooooooooooooo 1999...
This used to be a big pain for me, especially my melee characters. I've since changed my tab key to 'Target Nearest Enemy', which was ctrl-tab by default. I live a lot longer now and have a much easier time targeting those mobs close to me, rather than those across the room.
I don't have any of these problems, but then again when I want to target a specific thing, I usually just use my mouse...

FIX THE ...
A Playlist of my CO PvP video's (starting from post nerf PTS team duels)
I can have the box around the person, fire and hit someone behind me.
I target the boss in recruitment drive and hit a guy on the side.
heal spells, I aim at the tank, it targets a mob.
I try to cast bubble on myself, it gives it to a random person(as I drop dead)
can you at least fix targeting, so that it attacks the person you have the box around.
also despite them being listed as henchmen, a rubbish bin and lamp post in an alert is NOT a target that I am trying to hit.

Honestly the only way to target the guy you want is to be in melee range, angle your camera straight down, then hit tab.
click targeting?

My super cool CC build and how to use it.
Introducing a tab targeting system that requires you to drop target, that's the problem.

you don't eeeeeven need to hit the escape key. Just bind cleartarget and selecttarget to the same key!
It may not be perfect, but at least they gave us the tools to fake it.
