So I did this with the Foxbat swag -

"I had to steal the suit from my 80 year old crazy uncle to avenge my parents death. But it's become more than that now. I feel like I can give back to the world. Give people a little hope.

I just wish Uncle Foswell would stop laughing in my ear so much and trying to get me to throw water balloons at people. "lighten up"? Are you crazy? This is serious business! I don't have time for that!"

Basically an inversion of the Bruce/Terry bit going on there. Yeah - there's humor in the concept, but young Foswell is the straight man and his crazy old uncle back in the Foxbat cave is the one saying "Why so serious?" And trying to set up dates with all the young supervillainesses. :D

    Like :).

    Love how you've twisted to concept to make this new Foxbat a serious character, even with mental old uncle Foswell trying to insist you hold up the local candy store with a giant inflatable fish... :)

    One of the few heroes that NEEDS to have a vehicle. No, vehicles! Jets, bikes, gliders, the works.

    Seriously great idea. Much better than my Foxtrout nonsense. :smile:

    Thanks guys!

    I just acquired the 90s Foxbat costume and the parts have increased the coolness factor of the costume by an order of magnitude! :D

    Nice job, on both costumes and characters. I do prefer the first mask, though. :smile:

    I used the Classic Mask and Foxbat's Trout as a Heavy Weapon skin to make Fishbat, a Devastator, but that's nowhere near as cool as Foxbat Beyond...

    Ironically, the Champions: New Millennium version of Foxbat from the mid-1990s had a new, saner person inherit the Foxbat costume and equipment after Freddie Foswell's death... but he was "haunted" by Freddie's psyche surviving in the suit, speaking in his mind and urging him to more bizarre actions.

    You do know that Batman Beyond, was an entire cartoon series, and the Return of the Joker was only part of the series?

    Oh yeah! I remember that one now! I really liked that version of Foxbat and the whole setting in fact. I think I was riffing more on Batman Beyond. But it's possible I might've had that version of the character in back of my mind when I created this.

    Where you get the foxbat costume pieces..better not be in another lockbox..i swear that's what PW does now

    Foxbat 90's era costume (the techier version) was in a lockbox. You can get the costume pack on the auction still for fairly reasonable prices (400-600G frequently) since it is the current box dropping. Old school Foxbat was earned during the recent Foxbat Con event, which I hope the rerun as I missed it, and thus the associated parts.
