Improving the Cryptic Engine?

Just a thought, with all the stuff happening lately I wondered if Cryptic plans to improve their engine for their game. Like they can do something with the engine so we can finally have white/black powerhues, make the game less blocky, make the water effects possible to be a powerset or something like that.

I dunno, it might be just because I've spent so much time in CO that I'm wishing things to change. Like with better dynamic gameplay(or the animations, at least) and customization. :P

    Black/white powerhues have nothing to do with the engine. It was explained many times.

    I think there are more drastic issues to improve 1st than the negine.

    Can you elaborate more on that? True, there are some things that need to be improved first. But improving the engine might be a positive thing to CO.

    The only thing that really bothers me about the engine is the missing textures (for instance black textures all around, or the stuff in front of the doors leading to the four chambers in teleios tower) when using the DX11 mode.

    Sorry, but the game need MORE PERMANENT CONTENT before we start getting into the "Sexy Engine Update". The newest thing we got was another raid/alert. But there hasn't been any new, permanent missions content in roughly what? TWO-PLUS YEARS?

    That needs to be addressed WELL before monkeywrenching the graphics system (outside of bugs). Otherwise it's just lipstick and mascara on a pig.

    To be accurate, we did get two permanent missions from the Fatal Err0r story (and one rotating special alert). But I know what you mean, a nice Adventure Pack/Comic Series is what many of us players would LOVE to see.

    I liked the direction we were going with mini zones. Alternate versions of existing zones with differences according to the state of the arc involved.

    I'd prefer brand new zones. If I wanted to play a lobby game I would focus on Diablo or similar games, but I am playing an MMO. I want this to be built like an MMO.

    Exactly. With the source material this game has it is down right sad how little we actually have.
