im not still lv 40, (36 atm) i finding quite anoying to having to use BCR and convict right before every combo so MSA can keep my 3 attacks on, i dont use overdrive since my the invincible AT, and even on him it wasnt as usefull because of the power selection to stack it was very limited thus the lack of rec to make it count

but fueled by AOPM, would overdrive be better energy unlock for my build? i could change power bolts with wrist bolter and its adv, that would allow to easily stack overdrive 3 times. ikno overdrive stacked 3 times gives slighty more energy return than MSA, and last more than double MSA duration (15s) my main concerns were:

-not having enough energy at the beggining of a battle (though like i say,im still lv 36 so and with aopm, enlightened, int/end as SS this might not be a problem with high end 40 gear?)

-being hard to stack in a pvp situation (though i never had problems getting 2 stacks on my the invincible, but i could use reconstruct circuits and is not in this build)

- conviction spaming leaving me energy starving (wondering if convict is even an ideal heal if i take overdrive, im seeing mostly as a MSA feeder)

    already replied to this in the parent forum. But yeah I'd suggest OD and some more Rec gearing to adress ur main energy concern, as well as a heal that's easier on energy reserves than Conviction w/o MSA.

    I would also recommend Overdrive over MSA. When you're attacking, you'll likely be running multiple Power Armor toggles at the same time. Like for my PA toon, I'm often using Minigun, Micro Munitions, and spam tapping Tactical Missiles. Overdrive and high Rec keeps my weapons blazing.

    thanks a lot for the replies, i changed to MSA, and tbh my only reason to pick up aopm over invulnerability was because the energy generation problem

    i had some advice from a range PA tank in game, so after some tweaks i came up with this one:

    the damage/energy return from defiance and fuel my fire spec to help keep my energy up, alongside some moding with recovery

    i decided to completely give up dodge in favor of defense, o i retired MD and BCR for regurgence and reconstruct circuits; resurgence with con as main, and the 150k questionite secondaries for a nice healing boost from the 130 extra main SS.

    and after some calculations, i managed to get reconstruction circuits to heal up to 800/s, with healing broochs and legion healing buff, and adding the healing bonus from q secondaries to the math., with int as a SS too and CD reduction to have a high uptime of active defenses.
