Login server down?

first it booted me .. then i couldnt connect to account server... now i cant connect to loginserver -.-

    Sounds like it's Cryptic-wide. I'm checking if I can get in-game, then I'll send an email out about it. Thanks for the info, folks.

    I was just able to log in with the only issue being a really long loading screen wait. Something's screwy.

    Days later X bad thing happens and the first thing to do is blame the patch?
    100% of the world is crazy, 95% are in denial.

    I've been noticing that the patches seem to be getting slower in previous weeks. And there's been unusual bouts of lag as well. Something is certainly hinky in Cryptic-ville.

    It looks like it was just a hiccup -- I was able to log in fine -- but something definitely happened. We're investigating now.

    Par for the course. Something changes, game crashes. Don't believe me? Look through the history of the last two years.

    We've found what we believe to be the culprit -- it's network-side, not CO specific. Thanks everyone for letting us know, I appreciate it.

    I knew it, it was Cybermind! There was a Fatal Error in the Intranet Deployment.

    Seriously, why does weird stuff happen whenever we have a bigger patch or added content. I'm not angry, or even like 'complaining' per se... it's part of the routine for me. But is this like, self-fulfilling prophecy or something like, that I just don't get.

    It also acts quirky when other Cryptic games get major updates.

    If this happened the day of, or the day after, or constantly over the weekend, I would have been much quicker to think of blaming the patch. But this was 3 or 4 days after the patch. A pretty short blip too. Honestly, it didn't have the hallmarks of a patch caused crash.

    It's not just this blip-

    For the first time ever, I'm getting abrupt disconnects without a 'Server Not Responding' error. I lag badly at regular intervals, regardless of activity (Standing alone in hideout, or even doing a mission, or in the tailor).

    It wasn't doing this before this patch. It's done it ever -since- the patch, and I think the disconnect was just another symptom, albeit more noticeable for some.
