Don't know what Zookeeper bulld is.

    Freeform?

    Archetype?

If it's an AT like The Inventor ( nice pet class AT), then I suggest using the All-In-One Silver guide.

    http://champions-online.proboards.com/thread/362/all-silver-guides-thread

I use it for all my AT toons and it's a good way to get a feel for what works for that class.

Also, you can use it to get some ideas for what to use for a freeform.

    Hope it helps some.

I'm guessing "zookeeper" is something like "petmaster". Can't offer any build advice, sadly, but I'm sure lots of other people will jump in on this.

This is a recent respec of my main, a concept off The Wild Hunt:

    PowerHouse (Link to this build)

    Name: Wyldhunt

    Archetype: Freeform

    Super Stats:
    Level 6: Endurance (Primary)
    Level 10: Presence (Secondary)
    Level 15: Constitution (Secondary)

    Talents:
    Level 1: Divinity
    Level 6: Prodigy
    Level 9: Shrug It Off
    Level 12: Boundless Reserves
    Level 15: Survival Training
    Level 18: Field Ops Training
Level 21: Jack of All Trades

    Powers:
    Level 1: Shadow Bolt
Level 1: Ebon Void (Voracious Darkness)
    Level 6: Compassion
Level 8: Lifedrain (Rank 2, Vampiric Sympathy)
Level 11: Grasping Shadows (Unyielding Agony)
Level 14: Summon Shadows (Rank 2, Devouring Darkness)
Level 17: Command Animals (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 20: Ritual of Primal Summoning (Rank 2, Unbound Ritual)
    Level 23: Overdrive
Level 26: Arctic Beast (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 29: Skarn's Bane (Rank 2, Rank 3, Challenging Strikes)
Level 32: Aura of Primal Majesty (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 35: Pyromancer's Blades (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 38: Redemption

    Travel Powers:
    Level 6: Flight
    Level 35: Teleportation

    Specializations:
    Endurance: Readiness (3/3)
    Endurance: Gear Utilization (2/3)
    Endurance: Power Overwhelming (3/3)
    Endurance: Hardened (2/2)
    Commander: Rapid Response (2/2)
    Commander: Multitasker (3/3)
    Commander: Durable (2/3)
    Commander: Savage (3/3)
    Sentry: Fortified Gear (3/3)
    Sentry: Precise (3/3)
    Sentry: Sentry Aura (3/3)
    Sentry: Persevere (1/2)
    Mastery: Commander Mastery (1/1)

My old Superstats were Int/Pre/Con; I'm trying End this time since I don't really have to worry about recharge. I also dropped Void Horror for Grasping Shadows, and only have Redemption for when I start teaming (soon). I just dinged 40 with the old build (solo all the way) and then respecced into this one.

Since it was my first CO toon, I had some trouble until getting Skarn's Bane, but it's been a very safe toon since AoPM.

The one I gave is active, where the pets and I have a more "equal" role. However, I like a build challenge, and here's one based on what I know from mine, Pulsewave's info, and combined with theorycrafting from CO-Wiki (via web.archive.org) and Bluhman's powerset guide on Steam. Max pets, one AoE/self heal, and minimum # of powers to support them.

    PowerHouse (Link to this build)

    Name:

    Archetype: Freeform

    Super Stats:
    Level 6: Intelligence (Primary)
    Level 10: Presence (Secondary)
    Level 15: Constitution (Secondary)

    Talents:
    Level 1: The Radiant
    Level 6: Diplomatic
    Level 9: Healthy Mind
    Level 12: Shrug It Off
    Level 15: Brilliant
    Level 18: Intimidating
Level 21: Jack of All Trades

    Powers:
Level 1: Eldritch Bolts (Wizard's Discretion)
Level 1: Aura of Primal Majesty
    Level 6: Tyrannon's Familiar
Level 8: Ebon Void (Voracious Darkness)
    Level 11: Pyromancer's Blades (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 14: Lifedrain (Rank 2, Vampiric Sympathy)
Level 17: Ritual of Ebon Summoning (Rank 2, Unbound Ritual)
    Level 20: Molecular Self-Assembly
Level 23: Summon Shadows (Rank 2, Devouring Darkness)
Level 26: Fire Snake (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 29: March of the Dead (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 32: Inertial Dampening Field (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 35: Command Animals
Level 38: Arctic Beast (Rank 2, Rank 3)

    Travel Powers:
    Level 6: Flight
    Level 35: Teleportation

    Specializations:
    Intelligence: Preparation (2/2)
    Intelligence: Enlightened (3/3)
    Intelligence: Detect Vulnerability (3/3)
    Intelligence: Expertise (2/2)
    Commander: Rapid Response (2/2)
    Commander: Multitasker (3/3)
    Commander: Well Trained (2/2)
    Commander: Savage (3/3)
    Sentinel: Caregiver (3/3)
    Sentinel: Sentinel Aura (3/3)
    Sentinel: Moment of Need (2/3)
    Sentinel: Genesis (2/2)
    Mastery: Commander Mastery (1/1)

Int here over End for recharge reduction. IDF may be better than Compassion for survivability. MSA may be better than Overdrive since more recharge powers than maintains. Fire/Ice/Toxic damage pets synergize when near to Fire Snake due to its dmg reduction power. Arctic Beast Rk3 does bring some AoE goodness due to Arctic Winds - it does keep mobs bunched up pretty well. 14 pets when all out (5 controllable; 9 not).

When playing this, being in the thick of the pets would be best for IDF and Lifedrain. If pets die, resummon away. I think this build would level just fine too.
