No info on dragons?

I've checked through the resources I have on hand, but the most I can find about dragons are some slight references to the death dragon, a celestial dragon, and a selection of heroes with dragon-themed names.

Is there any more detailed information in Champions lore on the subject, and if not, then what?

hero system bestiary by Steve Long

Fantasy Bestiary would probably have more, since the dragons would be used for Fantasy hero, rather than Champions which is modern era.
also the Fantasy hero main book
Stuffing up Freeform builds since Mid 2011

Dragons have existed on Champions Earth during past ages, including eras of civilization tens of thousands of years before recorded history starts on the real Earth. These include dragons in the Western tradition -- big, scaly, fire-breathing, bat-winged -- and the Oriental -- long and sinuous, wingless but flying, masters of the weather and the waves. Many other legendary serpentine creatures, such as nagas, were also present.

Being highly magical, dragons can only survive on Earth during eras in which "ambient magic" on the planet is relatively high. On Champions Earth the level of magic waxes and wanes over time. As magic diminished after the Middle Ages, the dragons retreated to the astral dimension of Faerie, or The Land of Legends, home to all the monsters, gods, and magical races of human mythologies. But in the Twentieth Century magic rose to a level at which such beings can again travel to Earth.

A few dragons have been mentioned by name in published PnP books in relation to past eras of the Champions Universe. At least one has interacted with Earth in recent years. Brangomar, the Shadow Queen, rules a region of Faerie called the Shadow Realm. She is a powerful sorceress as well as a mighty dragon, but most of the time she wears the form of a beautiful human woman; few of her subjects even know she's really a dragon. Brangomar has been a frequent foe of the famed superhero team, the Sentinels, particularly the Sentinel called Bravo, who originally hails from Faerie.

The Shadow Queen essentially is a living version of an Evil Queen from fairy tales. Her style, personality, motivation, and power are kind of a blend of two classic Disney movie villains: the evil queen from Snow White, and the "dark fairy" Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty.

The Shadow Queen is fully detailed in the book, Champions Villains Vol. 1: Master Villains. Two other powerful dragons who lived during the Dark Ages are mentioned in VIPER: Coils Of The Serpent, Bludrinkig and his son Geiskivaro, both deceased. Other dragons named in various books by Hero Games -- the publishers of Champions PnP -- lived during the very ancient past of Champions Earth; but dragons presumably dwell today in Faerie, or might have made their way to Earth.

The Death Dragon, which theoryfive mentioned above, is a very different type of entity, with its own distinct lore. While the HERO System Bestiary mentioned by chaelk is a general reference for animals and monsters to be used in any genre of PnP RPG -- supers, fantasy, sci-fi, pulp, modern adventure, etc. Creatures resembling the ones the Bestiary describes may or may not appear in modern-day Champions books or Champions Online, depending on the makers of the games.
