Dunno if you want AoPM for the look or for the all-over stat increase; if the former, you can get the AoPM ~look~ using a legacy aura from the vendor, and then you could get a no-special-effects Invulnerability or Defiance to make a really bricky brick.

Of course, the all-around stat boost from AoPM is QUITE nice, and that may be the intent, in which case you can choose whether or not to have the magical aura or not (love that new system!)

With just INT for energy management you may find it hard to power up the Cascade unless you have a power that triggers a Form (not sure if Enrage counts as an ENERGY form that will lower the cost of the Cascade). One easy fix (if you can juggle powers to get it and keep the powers you want/have)... is the Force energy builder which, with advantage, will occassionally proc a temporary Energy Form on you, which will then lower the Cascade costs....

My Force/Might/AoPM character is one of my oldest and most favorite, so he's been rebuilt MANY times. STR/CON/INT with MSA works a smidge better than STR/CON/END, even using Dark Transfusion. Plus you get the cooldown reduction of INT whereas END gives you no other benefit. I can tap spam FC at will and not have to worry too much about energy.

The build you have should work just fine. Mine has been optimized for me while staying within my thematic boundaries. My final stats are STR 421, CON 310, and INT 250. This gives a well rounded character that benefits from Enrage, Juggernaut, and Brutality. Damage-wise, I believe I'm in a sweet spot regarding DR for both Enrage and Brutality. Defensively, higher CON contributes to a larger HP pool as well as higher Defense through Juggernaut (which an AoPM build really needs), but thematically I really wanted to push STR.

I go with Vindicator mastery over STR mastery only because I haven't tested whether the extra STR and Offense offsets the boost Vindicator gives my FC.

Currently he is a beast, tearing up the 5-man Demon Battle Station on Hard without difficulty and surviving Gravitar reasonably well (with enough luck).

Okay, STR mastery vs. Vindicator mastery testing was interesting. For the hybrid melee/ranged build as posted above with 8 stacks of Enraged, Vindicator mastery gives a 1.65% ranged DPS gain but a 1.15% melee DPS loss vs. STR mastery. With zero stacks of Enraged, Vindicator edged STR out just slightly in melee also, however, by 0.4%. In addition, STR mastery gives about 80 more HP, 1% more Offense, and 2% more Defense.

Looks like for a melee-heavy hybrid, STR is slightly more effective when at full Enraged.

In a more range-heavy melee/ranged hybrid it would be.

It depends on whether you're going to be FC'ing everything or Uppercutting everything. With my build I'm melee'ing quite a bit more than I am attacking from range, so STR mastery will be my new choice.

On my STR-based PA character (heavily themed), Vindicator is the clear choice; but that one uses Concentration rather than Enrage, so the decision is simpler.

This is a bit more min/maxed but should work great for pve or pvp.

Use support role for a lot more energy and better heals.
