Hey Everyone,

The champions team would love to see what everyone has been doing with the new Auras system and of course the Winter Event as well, so be sure to post your screenshots here.

We hope to get enough screens to feature them on the site and on Facebook!

    You can't really see the aura on the Ferrous Gentleman - he's just showing off the gear that's making his costume so much better than it used to be.

    Beastlord always gets into the holiday spirit! (People say that his human form has packed on a few pounds though.)

    Questionite seems to have a strange effect on him lately. Or does he have an effect on it? He seems to be getting 10% more than he usually does.

    It's a hackjob. A starfield that only applies to skin would be better. The effect above only works if the entire costume is black, so you can't have it with red boots or jeans on. It's also highly animated and spastic looking in person, much more than a static starfield background should be.

    It's close, but I'm sure the developers could make one that's more appropriate. The one used in DCUO is great.

    Edit: I also can't use my Super Magnifier to look truly cosmic because all the sparklies disappear inside my torso.

    No Words can describe how I love this Multi Aura + Device Combo! :eek: it's really really BEAUTIFULand the Best Usage of Auras I have seen and loved so far! ♥ It really makes your character look like constellation

    Also they make me feel like they could be theChristmas Ghost of the Present from Christmas Carol with the Vibora Bay as Background

    Yes, it's a dead-simple gif maker. The window gets positioned over the part screen intended to be a gif and it records it to a .gif. Make sure the "Limit CPU Usage When Inactive" option in advanced video troubleshooting is turned off though. :3 If the gif is under 5 megs it can be uploaded to imgur.

    Here's some shots of my Christmas themed scourge, Marley. Just updated him with the victorian set, and I'll hopefully get my hands on a humidity dome eventually :)

    normal aura on the left battle aura on the right figured id throw in some screenie of the two auras dark and fire aura

    Experiment in making aura's change colour with a bind.

    Unfortunately it only changes when they are turned off and on so unless there is a bind to turn aura's off and on again this doesn't really work all too well.

    Thanks the the new aura system I've finally dusted off Lightwave, a force projector I could never get to work to my satisfaction due to the right passives having the wrong visuals. And now with glowing energy hands!

    Smackwell put together this Auras video for the uninitiated.

    I created a thread to show off what the the free Auras look like just before Biff's vid showed up, but it didn't get much attention beyond the caps I placed there.

    But I have experimented since and you can get some nifty results with color tweaks.

    I'll have a look at my caps again tomorrow and post something.

    Hi all, been playing with Auras a bit. I'm still in the exploration phase, enjoying it a lot.

    Stone Aura on Terracotta Warrior, a character that's an animated statue:

    The above was inspired initially by someone making a toon that was the Lincoln Memorial.

    Here's Ebon Destruction Aura on a mystical martial arts character:

    I like Rob Mahogany. For some reason, I decided to set him on Fire (Aura):

    Here's an obvious use of the Invincible Aura, to give any robot or power armour a sheen:

    This is like a Proof-of-Concept, Work-in-Progress of an Ice Cube character.

    The Aura is the new Ice Sheathe that came from the Rampages. I thought it was v clever.
