An Aura i'd like to see would be one that is like a second skin. It would be a body outline that gave off a pulse effect and you could pick its color too.

Wet - Your skin is slick and you constantly drip.
Goopy feet - You have a colored goo puddle by your feet. Not only this, but goopy tendrils run off of your limbs and go to the puddle, strongly implying that you're some sort of amorphous shapeshifter.
Pixels - Similar to the crackling dot aura, but uses square pixels instead of round dots.
Scanner - If you played the "Gadroon, I choose you!" mission, this scanner aura is basically the device's effect used there.
Awesome! I was about to suggest Wet w/ the dripping effect. :P
Also, Goopy Feet sounds really interesting to me, with the puddle idea. I'm not 100% sure what the tendrils would look like? But I'd love something that could simulate a Water effect, maybe the limbs gradually shifting into that, and Water dripping heavily or running off your Water-y hands, something like that?
Another suggestion:
* Psychic Aura: for psi-themed toons going into combat mode. Something akin to Ego Leech's effect, or exactly like that. And then maybe a more dramatic one like energy circles pulsing around the character's head (I'm thinking Shadow of Doubt /Alien Crystal's FX, more to SoD). And I'm thinking these two would look kinda great combined.:)
Energy shield aura: Looks like energy shield in front of the character, but isn't a block, and doesn't use the block animation.
Laser Knight: Looks like you have You have the Energy Shield advantage active. Can be on either arm.
Stink lines
Super Heated: Looks like that glow that metal gets when it's really hot. The hotter areas are brighter, and the cooler areas are darker. It probably wouldn't work well as a full body aura, but it would be good for hands and feet.
Gloom: The area around you is dark, as if you are using Epidemic, or Lightning Storm.
Rain Cloud
The digital one from the Socrates/Cybermind missions
Steam/smoke: emitted from body and rises
Mist: Mist surrounds the character. If on feet, it's low mist. If on head, it's over head. On hands, trails from hands?
Floating/Swirling debris
Seems like the most simple and obvious option, yet lacking...

I would also like to see a drippy aura--possibly the easiest way to institute this would be the wet graphic triggered by emerging from the fountains in ren center....
