Did I waste an Advantage Point?

I have a tank build on my Power Armor character and took Challenging Strikes in Mini Gun and Micro Munitions, however looking at the icons on a foe there is only one instance of the debuff applied. It did go up to two with another player who must of had it but I've been watching it lately and am now wondering if I wasted an Advantage point.

Does the -dmg stack or not? And while I'm at it, does the Threat stack? If only the Threat that is lame.

To my knowledge, the damage debuff does not stack, and nor does the threat-over-time. However, each individual hit of the power will indeed add another 100 threat.
Dasher@Tool-box, donning his armor to prance into battle and blitz the enemy! No joke!
Cupid@Tool-box, stunningly radiant stag ready to play matchmaker between villain and arrow!
Vixon@Tool-box, frighteningly eager to summon despair for his adversaries!
Jebin Zedalu@Tool-box, elementalist weaponmaster. ...One of these things is not like the others!

Ok, thanks. Sounds like it is good enough to just have it on Micro Munitions for my purposes.

And in looking over my build, I wonder if it would be worth it then to take Tactical Missiles and go with Crippling Challenge and Blast Radius to increase the damage debuff. As a tank build, I don't use TM much anyway, only when someone is knocking mobs around too much and Mini Gun and Micro Munitions keep shutting off.

Edit: bummer, CC only affects a single target with Blast Radius. :(

If you go to your options there's a setting "Always face target".

Setting this to on is incredibly helpful for keeping enemies in your targeting arc, even through knock.

For understanding how threat and threat advantages work read this thread/guide. Much (not all) of the information on the actual mechanics (not the numbers) is still relevant.

The Myth: "The Threat from CC and CS do not stack"
The Truth: They actually do stack with eachother. Also, CS from Multiple power sources will stack with eachother. So it's actually adventageous to take multiple powers with CS. Also, CC powers are exclusive in activiation, so there is no way to stack it from multiple Power Sources, however, tick by tick, 400 Threat per tick does add up.
