Here's my plague doctor. I'm VERY upset that the plague doctor mask is flagged as a hat. VERY. every plague doctor worth his salt wears a hat. ITS A MASK.

    I once read you can use the mask with a hat by setting your head to be a certain animal's (forget the exact animal) to trick the system.

    Update: Indeed you can, use Bestial ->Simian

    The Simian head can use both a hat, and a custom hat, allowing the new masks to be combined with a hat.

    However, you won't be able to use hair with that setup, so it's still not perfect.

    They should have put it in the "eye accessories" tab.

    Yes, they should have.

    The old hockey mask (which should have been as well) is a hat, and I'm 99.9% positive that the new Kabuki Mask and Plague Doctor Mask are just reskins of it.

    Any form of mask should be moved into the Eye Accessory category, just like the Jack Fool Mask, Ravenspeaker Mask, Dragon Mask, etc.

    Herr Doktor Schneibel is a "plague doctor", eh?

    Given the powersets in this game, does he cure the plague, or cause it? :smile:

    So, is this a thread to show off your costumes in particular, or just characters in the new costume sets?

    That Plague mask is a sideproduct of the new Bird mask.

    You can also use hats with the plague mask using the bird head.

    Yes the good doktor is a plague doctor. He cures it AND prevents it by killing undead. The undead are responsible for the black plague, but it was covered up and blamed on rats (who indeed carry it, but THEY got it from the undead)
    (but if you want to be specific, he dual wields voodoo scythes) proactive curing ftw
