Can you suggest me a name? :D

Hi again everybody o/! Well people, i need some suggestions again. I need a name for my new character, she is a unleasher archetype (using two axes :D) and, i try to create somethin like a tribal mystical warrior, i look in the internet, and i find someones cool, like Aella, but, probably it is already in use, and, i dont know, i'm looking for something different. Well, here a picture of her (oh, and, i forgot, she will have a human form too, it will be like a disguise):

    The first pic is highly reminiscent of the Greek god Pan - given the dual-axe thing, perhaps Panic?

    Unlike most games, names aren't exclusive in Cryptic games. You can have Aella@yourhandle and I can have Aella@myhandle. I was once 1 of 3 Gojira in STO one day. Confused the hell out of everyone reading our conversation, that didn't have show @handle on. :biggrin:

    However, some names are reserved by the system, and cannot be used. These are either established NPCs (Defender, Witchcraft, Ironclad, etc), copywritten character names (Wolverine, Batman, Superman, Hulk, etc) or vulgarities (****, ****, ***, *******, etc :tongue:).

    Generally, adding something to the name makes it valid. For example "The Defender of Puppies" would be a valud name.

    I doubt Aella is on the restricted names list, so it should be ok to use.

    Uhm, so is possible use a name even if it was already used by other person? Maybe i use Aella even, but, first i will search more about the names who Dyplomacyman suggested, thanks ^^

    Oh, and Flyiingfinn, she is really based on this creature, but i was not remembering the name, i was looking for it to add in her story, thanks too ^^

    Were that my character, I'd name her "Satire", and then come up with a suitably snarky bio to go with it. But that may be a bit punnier than you're looking for.

    Yep, the uniqueness for the system is established by name@handle - you can only have one toon with a given name, but the name itself can be used by someone else. I have, for instance, Arachnid@jonsills; I'm pretty sure there are a few other Arachnids running around, but the server knows which one is mine.

    Of course, some consider it bad form to steal a really unusual name from another player. For myself, I'd just ask that you make a minor change if you swiped one of my originals - say, if someone wanted to play Happifun Security System X-5... :smile:
